the way..

I was sitting in the car contemplating wether or not to tell Felix what I have been doing over these years.

I just couldn't work up the courage to look at him for moor than a second.

"Are...you..ok" Felix asked putting his hand on my lap.

He slid closer to me.

Was he..hitting on me. I thought to myself.

I hesitated "Ya..I'm fine"

"Hey look..if you're getting cold feet we can turn this car around and drop you off" he informed me.

"No..I'm fine" I snapped.

"Good.." He responded taking his hand off my leg.

The rest of the car ride was quite.

As we reached the the plane I got out of the car, I swung my bag over my shoulders and walked to the door of the plane.

"Hey war are you going" he asked.

"To the plane" I yelled looking back at him.

He was holding a big orange glowing cube.

"What the actual fuck..is that" I asked.

"There teleportation cubes" he answered as he threw it on the ground next to us.

There was a big flash of light, then I was somewhere else with a lot of grass.

I blinked a couple of times to see where I was.

"Come on sunshine..I'd like you to meet someone" he said taking my hand.

"Where are we going" I asked looking around. All I could see were trees.

"You'll see" he answered.

As we exited the canopy of trees I saw a big base on the edge of a cliff.

"What..the hell" I said dropping my bottom jaw.

He looked at me.. "Home"

I looked back at the building, it was at least the size of 4 football fields.

"Now..you need to see the person that brought you hear" he looked in my eyes.

"You have to promise me something first" he demanded.

I looked at him with a confused look.

"O..K"

"When you see this..man..you have to promise me. Promise me that you won't..scream or..kill someone" he asked.

"Why would I want to kill someone" I questioned.

"Just promise" he yelled.

"Ok ya I promise" I responded.

He started to walk forward to the base.

I looked around in confusion.

Why the HELL..am I here. I asked myself trying to keep up with Felix.

As we reached the big doors Felix looked at me again.

"You promised" he asked again.

"What the fuck am I promising" I said giving my attention to the doors as they opened.

Rage grew inside of me, as I peered at the man who came through those doors.
