Narrator's P.O.V

Entering the meeting room with his lawyer hot on his heels 'remember Trevor head up high,confidence and stay calm' Trevor kept telling himself he sat on one of the chairs his lawyer doing exactly like him setting his files on the table.

All eyes in the room on him, his father giving him death glares Genna's father's glares are some what similar to his father's but less scary the two mothers giving him sympathy looks. His brother felt bad for him but didn't also agree to what he was doing, but he knew his brother too well to try to convince him to do something he didn't want. The lawyer on the parent's side narrowed his eyes studying Trevor's lawyer then adjusting his tie watching Trevor's every move. Only one pair of eyes refused to look at him, she didn't need to look at him she knew it was him since he was the only one missing and she already memorized his perfume and she recognized his foot steps too well, they were slow so heavy, she didn't want to look at him, she was afraid of doing so, so embarrassed.
She never thought she would be in a situation as bad as this.

Neither did he glance at her, he wasn't afraid like she was, he didn't want to see sadness in her eyes he didn't want to feel guilty for that. He shouldn't it's not his fault he forced to, it's his and her parents fault she thought.

"I'm Mark Dean" The parents lawyer said slowly,proudly trying to scare the other lawyer

"And I'm Elijah-" Trevor's lawyer was cut by his own client "Skip the introductions" Trevor snapped causing Genna to jump in her own chair, Matt looked at her to give her a reassuring smile to comfort her but couldn't since her eyes were fixed on her lap. His heart clenched feeling bad for her.

"Let's get over with this already" Trevor said staring back at his father "My client wants to know what do you want" Mark the lawyer said "Burn the contract" Trevor said casually "Never" his father said slamming his hand on the table, Genna couldn't hear more tears were threatening to fall from her eyes she stood up quickly "Excuse me" she mumbled barely heard "Wait" Trevor's lawyer said Trevor looked at him watching what he was going to do .

Genna stood where she was not daring to look up her eyes glued to her black boots she could feel all eyes on her right now, she wished the floor would open and swallow her right at this moment "May I ask you a question miss?" He said Genna didn't move didn't answer she was just standing there "Only one" He insisted she nodded her head slowly

"Do you like this man? Do you want to marry him?"

Her tears fell she couldn't hold them on, he was watching, her tears made his heart hurt especially when those tears fell because of him. He wanted to comfort her but he couldn't he wouldn't he would ruin everything just now he realized she wasn't just that kid he was forced to marry she was more but he didn't want to admit it.

He turned his eyes from her to his lawyer glaring at him they didn't plan for this he never told him to do this, at the same time he wanted to know the answer.

She thought about the answer does she? Does she like him?

She shook her head "No, I don't"

Hearing her saying that was like being stabbed in the heart thousand and thousands of times. It hurt him even though he wanted that answer he didn't like how it sounded. Maybe because he was used to girls throwing themselves over him but he was lying to himself it wasn't that it was because he felt something for her and it was strong.

He watched as she ran out of the meeting room her tears falling down like rain, he smirked at his father "End this or you'll all go to jail" he said standing up leaving making an exit.

8 years later

"Did you see the latest news about Trevor Michael?" Genna's co-worker Amy asked Genna rolled her eyes "What? Which bar did he leave yesterday?" Genna asked sarcasm dripping from her mouth. Genna never met him after canceling the wedding she only heard about him he was the typical
'young hot billionaire who has visited every bar in every city and has caused so many trouble and was seen with different women every two hours'

She has moved on she forgot about him, now she has a fiancè of her own choice who she loved and he loved her back. She felt happy her life was now perfect.

"Nah, this time he didn't get to leave the bar he was killed by one of his exs" Amy said. Genna's heart stopped he is dead?

She got up ran as quick as she could, she kept running pumping into people until she was standing in front of her car she started driving back to her house.

Running to her room she opened the drawer next to her bed she took the paper that he sent her eight years ago she refused to read it now it was the time she couldn't stop herself she had to read it

Her hands were shaking tears weren't stopping sobs escaped her mouth she couldn't keep it in.
She took a deep breath then opened the folded paper.

"Genna I know I hurt you being in your life even just for few months ruined it I know, I don't know how you feel right now maybe you hate me maybe you don't, I don't know... I might never know but what I know is that you were something different in my life you gave me hope, when we first met it was your fifteenth birthday the first time I laid my eyes on you my heart skipped a beat the innocence in your eyes had got my heart closed just for you, I loved everything about you. your eyes, your laugh, your smile, how your eyes slightly close when you laugh from your heart, how your jaw twitches when you sing, how you crunch your nose when you smell cigarettes because you hate its smell, how you blush when I stand so close to you I loved the pink color of your cheeks..Your lips oh your lips they were as red as cherry. I felt jealous when men glanced at you. I know I made you feel unwanted but that's not true I wanted you like how a flower would need water. You are like a diamond you can't be sold with low price, I cancelled the wedding because I wanted to let you have fun, I wanted you to enjoy your every little second of your life, I wanted you to meet people and learn I wanted you to live a happy normal life. That wouldn't have happened if I stayed in your life. If I stayed I would've bought you with low price I would've been your punishment you don't deserve that. I hope you find the man who would know the price of the very expensive diamond that he would have if he had you. You'll grow to be a beautiful lady. Live and experience life have kids and live till you see your grandchildren. I hope you continue you life with love all around you
