I swear I could feel Roses heartbeat quickening her hand tightly wrapped around mine trying to bury her head in the creases of my jacket I hated seeing her this way but I need her to see something and I needed to talk to her as we walked in I heard her gasp and jump I pulled out a flashlight and Chris spoke "Well let me take you all to the tower " smiling trying to ease Roses worries. "Daimon Michael Ford why are we here what's going on!?" Rose said her voice shakey I knew something was up with her the way she used my full name I quickly pulled her into a corner "Rose Katerina Styleson I just need to talk to you what's up with you today you seem off?" I said trying not to sound worried "well we could have talked somewhere that's not dangerous or closed Daimon!" She seemed pissed I shined the light on her eyes they were puffy liked she had been crying all day which made my heart sting knowing someone mad her cry "WHO THE HELL MADE YOU CRY ROSE!?" "It's nothing Daimon just drop it " " LKE HELL IM NOT TELL ME ROSE I HATE SEEING YOU THIS WAY TELL ME please love "I said now trying to cool off as she cupped my face with her warm hands and kissed me with such a lust that melted my cold heart I pulled away and she sighed and said "I'll tell you why I was crying later now let's go see what ever it is you wanted to show so we can get going before I get grounded till I'm 80 "she said laughing and latched onto my arm god how I loved her I knew I didn't deserve her my brother did but I was to damn selfish to let her go the only stable pure luminous light in my cold empty world.
