The following morning I woke up to the sound of an alarm playing a song that made me jump outta bed I was so scared my heart was hammering to death as I unplugged the alarm I sat there fully awake as the aroma of coffee and pancakes filled the house I got up took a shower got dressed into a pair of dark jeans and a pink tank top because today was a new day and my date. I sat at the table eating breakfast with my mom as she was on her phone the entire time and payed no attention to me it hurt knowing my
Mom didn't care about me but I ignored it even though it hurt so badly I ran upstairs and I pulled out a book of photo albums I made myself rember I forced my self to remember but I couldn't I saw fragments of things that I couldn't put into a memory. As I got a call I answered it "Hello? " " Hey Rose I was wondering if we could go on our date now cause I'm busy later if that's alright?" It was Ryan he sounded kind of rude "um yeah that's fine ?" "Okay be there like in 5minutes " he hung up like That he was beginning to become a little sketchy as promised he was here in 5 minutes he honked his horn which I guess was que for me to get in the car he was being really rude. We went to some restaurant called Gallogos it was Mexican food we got down and Ryan didn't even wait for me as we are he talked all about himself "I'm in Jv football he ranted on and on about then a song started to play That sparked something up in me I checked what song it was it was called Flightless bird I got little pieces of memories coming together I was so happy "Take me home Ryan ! " "What why !" "I'm getting memories back take me home now you know what forget it I'll walk !" " no Rose what's going on he barked at me and snatched up my hand I was so full of adrenaline  and anger I slapped him across the face "DONT EVER TOUCH NE AGAIN DAIMON WAS RIGHT THIS WHOLE TIME HE LOVES ME NOT YOU !" I ran towards the sidewalk and grabbed my phone lucky Damon's number was in my phone I called him  he answered on the second ring "Rose  are you okay?" "DAIMON IM GETTING MEMORIES BACK I NEED TO SEE TTE BOXES MEET ME AT MY HOUSE BYE" I hanged up on him and went running home I got there like in 15 minutes Daimon was there with two boxes he gave me one and said "open it love" " I did I was so anxious and nervous as I opened the box it was a bunch of pictures of me and Damon and love letters and movie tickets concert tickets and a letter In a purple envelope that caught my eye "Read it Rose" Damon said encouraging I opened the letter and read it aloud "Dear Rose, God I wrote this a bizillion times trying to make it perfect for you here it goes Rose I've loved you since the day I met you you made me happy you showed me life can be full of joy and life you showed me how to love I'm so damn grateful for meeting you that day in the music store I believe everything happens for a reason maybe we were supposed to fall for one another because we had so many things to teach each other. Rose god sometimes you drive me freaking mental I wanna Stab my eyes out and pull my hair but at the end of the day despite our arguments I love you so much I'm so grateful to have you you were there for me when i was in a black whole when my dad passed and you helped me you made me change you made me wanna be good I can't thank you enough for that words can't even begin to explain how happy you've made me and you don't know if but you have my heart in your hands I love you please I know I'm freaking worthless I'm nothing but I can try to be what ever you need if you superman I'll be superman I'll be there even if we're a thousand miles away from each other

Tears slid down my cheek as a picture of me and Damon was tapped to the paper of us at prom my memories came flooding back in like a ocean tide I quickly jumped onto Damon and hugged him so tightly I knocked him over "Damon it worked my memories there back I screamed and kissed him with a lust I got my memories back I was so happy I wasn't lost anymore "I was begging to miss you Styleson he said pulling me in for another kiss "I always knew you'd find me I said smirking thank you for saving me my handsome prince. "Rose wait he said getting up I'm so sorry I got us into the accident it was my fault I let jealously do This and I nearly killed us I gave you amnesia "stop it I love you Damon it was an accident I love you sooo much I forgive you!" We kissed and Damon pulled away and got down on one knee my heart stopped "Rose Katerina Styleson I promise to love you and cherish you and make you happy for the rest of our lives would you do me the extraordinary honor of marring a worthless trash like me ?" "YES OH MY GOD YES I screamed crying at him and hugging him tightly as he got a long piece of grass and wrapped it around my finger and said "I'll turn it into gold one day I swear it and we kissed under the tree as I asked him "what about Arizona ? " "Screw Arizona I'd rather be here with you I think we both learned the hard way what happens when we're not together as we both laughed blissfully thinking about forever.
