Chapter 4: Broken Mate

When we pull up Coby jumps out of the car like his life depended on it and scared the living hell out of me when he popped up at my door opening it for me. I smile at him seeing the love in his eyes but I know that there is no way he could love a piece of trash like me. He helps me get my things and we walk inside, I instantly get cold harsh stares from most of the girls in the pack, assuming they don't have their mates yet. Coby gives them a warning look, I have no clue why thought, I know he doesn't know I can handle myself but I've been through more than he can imagine. We walk down a long hallway until we reach the last door on the right. He opens the door for me and I walk in amazed at how big it is. There is a king sided bed, and the walls are painted a light blue/grey color, and there is two white french doors leading to a bathroom along with two large walk-in closets. My favorite thing however is that this whole room smells like him. That's when it hit me. He's my mate. No, this can't be, I'm just a mistake, this can't be right. There is no way an Aplfa's mate could be a mistake like me. He leads me to the walk-in closet to the left and puts my bag inside. By this time it's already 10:35. He walks up to me and smiles at me once again, no clue why.

Coby's POV

I smile at her beautiful face but she gives me a confused face.

You should tell her. It's obvious she's gonna find out sooner or later.

I don't know. What if she rejects me.

Just go for it. You got this.

Sometime I wonder if my wolf really wants me to feel good or he's just trying to make me feel like a wimp. "Sky?" she look at me with those beautiful grey eyes of hers, looking at them I realize that there are specks of blue in them too.

"Yeah" she says just as casual as ever, other than her cheek lighting up a rosy pink.

"I need to...ask you something" damn, why does she have this affect on me.

"Uh-huh"

"Do you know that errr umm." I say starting to regret saying anything.

"Spit it out Capt." she says giving me a smirk.

"Do you realize that we're-" before I can finish my sentence she jumps in and finishes it for me.

"Mates. I realized it, and if you want to reject that's okay" she says tearing up. I pull her into a tight hug.

"I would never reject you." I say giving her a reassuring smile. She pulls me in tighter and nuzzles her head into my neck. I kiss the crown of her head making her look up at me. I see a smile creep it's way onto her face. Goddess what is she thinking right now.

"You should probably get ready for bed, it's getting late." She says okay and disappears into the closet and comes out wearing a grey crop-top with a winkey face on it with some black sweats. "You can have the bed, I'll take the couch." I say motioning to the couch. She gives me a small nod. "Unless.." I say dragging out the word and I see her head snap up with a big grin on her face.I change into some basketball shorts but leave off my shirt to see that Sky's already tucked into bed.

Skylar's POV

I look up to see Coby in only basketball shorts revealing his eight pack, I didn't even know those existed. I positive my mouth is gaping open but he just gives me a smirk and climbs into bead raping his muscular arms around me. I wake up totally refreshed and decide I'm going to take a shower. I don't see Coby anywhere so I decided to go take a warm shower. Too much has been happening too fast. I hop in a notice that there is no girl shampoo, so I grab Coby's and clean myself up while singing the lyrics to one of my favorite songs Demons by Imagine Dragons.
