The Move

It was a bright and early Saturday morning. School just finished for Amanda Rogers, but not for her sister, Korina Rogers.

Amanda was a blonde, brown eyed, funny, quirky, averaged height, typical 17 year old. She was about to be a senior in highschool but just started summer vacation.

Korina was a dirty blond, hazel eyed, serious..yet knows how to have a good time, tall, 18 year old girl. She was in college and Doesn't finish her semester until late August.

Amanda and Korina's mom got a new job in Mystic Falls, Virginia. So, the family is moving tomorrow. Everyone except Korina. Korina will come in after her school finishes. The Rogers family currently live in Washington.

Amanda was in her room all the time, on her phone like anyone else her age. She has been on Chatigram, an app that lets you chat with people from all around the world. She was talking to this boy in particular. His name was Stefan Salvatore. He actually lives in Mystic Falls, where she's going to move. They're going to meet up when she settles in and unpacks.

Amanda was texting until about 6pm, when she started to pack. She packed all her clothes, room things, and a whole bunch of other stuff that wasn't necessary but she took anyways. She couldn't be bothered to pick specific things out of huge drawers and bins..and she didn't have time because she was going to talk with Stefan at 8pm.

Korina got home at 9:30pm everyday. This time she was upset though.. She had to say her good byes because everyone was leaving in the morning. She was so mad because she couldn't go. But we promised to call her everyday and catch her up on everything.

It was 1am when Amanda finally went to bed. She made a date with Stefan tomorrow at 8pm. She would get at Virginia at 11am and will have 7 hours to settle in and get dressed. She couldn't wait.

Amanda's mom and dad didn't like the fact that she was meeting this boy. They didn't like the whole dating thing in general. They were scared that it would be all she thinks about. But I think it's too late for that...

Amanda hopes that Stefan fits her guy cuteness level. She wants a guy who is tall, blonde, has amazing hair, and ABS! Enough said.

That night, Amanda meets Stefan at the grill.

Amanda is wearing a beautiful coral dress. It's a fit and flare strapless dress with jewels on the upper half. It was fancy but it was not prom-y or wedding-y. It was the perfect dress for the night.

Amanda takes a taxi to the grill, not knowing that it was walking distance!

She walks in the grill and doesn't know what to expect for Stefan to look like. She looks around and scans the whole place. She cant find Anyone who looks as if they were waiting for her.

Then she feels a tap on her shoulder.
It was Stefan!

She looked at him for about 20 seconds.

He was a buff guy with amazing hair and green eyes. He was wearing a button-up shirt with dressy pants and shoes. His abs were sticking out from his shirt. His eyes were dreamy, you would get lost in his eyes...Amanda already did.

Stefan also looks at Amanda for a while.

Stefan: Hi. You look amazing.

Amanda: uhh...umm..you look pretty...umm...I mean....Handsom.

Stefan: Haha thanks. Let's find a table!

They sit down, Stefan pulls the chair out for Amanda.

Amanda: it's amazing to finally meet you!

Stefan: I know! I've been dreaming about this day for the longest!

The waiter comes and gives the two a menu.

Stefan: just warning you...the food here is addictive! And good...!

Amanda: it all looks great!

Stefan orders a soup for him and Amanda to start off with.
For actuall food, Stefan orders a chicken salad with Cesar dressing and cheese.
Amanda orders pasta with chicken.

As they talk Amanda feels like Stefan is just how she thought. Not only that but they had so much in common. Amanda hated cheese, and Stefan hated cheese. Amanda loves cats, and Stefan loves cats. And so much more!

Amanda: this has been great Stefan! I would love to do it again sometime!

Stefan: actually..now that you say that, tomorrow is going to be 95 degrees! Too hot to stay at home. So would you like to have a beach date with me?

Amanda: I'd love to!!! Thanks so much Stefan!

Stefan: anything for you! And this would be a great way to show you around.

Amanda: yeah!

Amanda didn't even know what to say. Stefan seemed to be the dream boyfriend! She couldn't wait for tomorrow! Something in her wanted to get up out the seat and just jump!

When they were done eating they talked for 2 hours. It became 12 which is when the grill closes. They were starting to rush to get us out.

Amanda tried to pay half of the bill but Stefan insisted for her not to. What a gentleman.

While walking out Amanda thinks to herself. All day when she was with Stefan she felt a part of her that was never there. It was good. It was like she can be herself! She didn't want to jump ahead or go to quickly but she feels like Stefan is the one.

Stefan walks Amanda to her house. On the way he just talks to her about his life, his family, and mystic falls.

They got to Amanda's house.

Stefan: I had a great day today, Amanda.

Amanda: me too. It felt good.

Stefan: I'll see you tomorrow. I'll pick you up at 10am! Good night Amanda.

Amanda: ok! Good night Stefan!

Stefan gives Amanda a kiss of the cheek and waves good bye.

Amanda goes into her house. Her mom and dad seemed to be acting too natural!

Amanda: what's going on??

Mom: ...nothing...

Dad: yeah...we weren't looking out the window and spying on you.

Amanda: REALLY!!!! Why don't you trust me.

Mom: we do...we were just observing!

Amanda goes to her room. All she thinks about is Stefan. She loved the day! She can't wait for tomorrow.

She finds the cutest bathing suit that she has for tomorrow.
She has this pink with black polkadot string bikini top and the matching cheeky bottoms.

She gets a big tote that is her beach bag. She'll pack it tomorrow though.

Amanda takes a hot bath with a Rose Bathbomb. And washes her hair with the matching shampoo.

It was 1:30am now. She wrapped up the day. She changed into her pajamas, and got into bed. She wasn't completely tired yet and had to clear her mind.

She picked up her book "Blood Over Heels" and started reading the next chapter.

She slowly started to fall asleep. She put her book on the night table, and fell asleep. Thinking and dreamin about Stefan all night.
