Deadly Choices

(Y/N) POV:
"Do you guys really think the girls are communicating with us?" Chris asked as Ashley grabbed a candle from off of the table.

"I- I don't even know what to say. That was way too messed up." I told Chris.

"I don't know if I wish they were or I wish they weren't." Ashley said.

"I guess we should find out." Chris replied walking down the stairs

"Josh looked really freaked out at the seance." Ashley mentioned when we started looking for the library.

"Yeah. I mean he looked like he was keeping it together, but..." Chris noticed.

"Do you think we shouldn't have mentioned his sisters?" Ashley asked.

"I mean, it is why we came back up here." Chris reminded.

"Yeah but, not to like, have a seance. Maybe we went to far." Ashley argued.

"I agree, that might have been to much." I agreed.

As soon as we stepped foot in the library books started flying off of the shelf. I screamed.

"Jesus! Look out!" Chris yelled.

"Holy crap." Ashley exclaimed.

Chris turned to me. "Are you okay?" He looked at me trying to make sure that I didn't get hit by anything.

"I'm fine." I nodded.

"Look-" Ashley pointed to the bookshelf.

"What?" Chris asked.

"There was something behind the books." Ashley said, he held the candle closer to the shelf. There was a button built into the back of the bookshelf. "What is that?" She asked.

"It's a button" I told her.

"Why would there be a button?" She asked.

"Good question." Chris said.

"I'm gonna push it." I suggested walking up to the button. I pushed it and the bookshelf moved and revealed a hidden room.

"Whoa. Panel opens. Head explodes." Chris exclaims. I giggled a little bit.

"Are we like in a movie right now?!" Ashley asked.

Chris looked at me. "If we are I hope it's a rom-com." Chris laughed.

"Leave it to the Washington's to have secret passages in their house." Ashley criticized.

"Maybe they don't even know. This place is super old." Chris stated.

"So... Should we take a look?" Ashley asked.

"After you." Chris urged.

"No no nonono... You go." Ashley refused.

"Oh my gosh you guys. I'll go if it's that big of a deal." I scoffed.

I took the candle from Ashley and walked into the small room. Chris followed closely behind me and Ashley stayed outside of the room.
