To hell with going to the nurse's office. I've had worse pain. I went over to my locker and halted as I put in my combination. I find my horror book, Still Life with Crows by Prestons Child. Reading always relaxed me.
I began to read as I sat down in the empty hallway. I felt more relaxed after I read about a chapter, then put placed my bookmark into place. I got up and returned the book to my locker. Unfortunately, I should go back to the gym.
As I walked in as everyone stops and whispers. I hear my name get spoken multiple times as I walk head down towards my belongings. Then I heard Coach Derrick blew his whistle.
"Alright, Alright! Did I tell you to stop? Now resume playing!" He shouted as they turned back and continued playing dodgeball. He jogged over to me as I gathered my things.
Fpuck P.E.
"Hey uh... Kat? Are you okay?" He asked as his emerald eyes look into my dark brown eyes. He was rather attractive for a 26 year old gym coach. He was rather fit and healthy and had a low haircut.
I felt his concern for me which made me more upset for reasons unknown. Probably because nobody ever cared for me.
I gaze back into his eyes and move them down to my jacket. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm going home so I can heal a bit better. Sorry I have to cut early," I lied.
"It's fine sweetheart, take your time. If you come back tomorrow let me know how you feel," he lightly demanded as he placed his big hands on my shoulder, making me turn around. This triggered memory when my dad used to call me sweetheart. I shuddered at the creepiness of it as I escaped his grasp and walked away.
"Sure thing Coach," I opened the gym door and went out into the hallway. The only sound you can hear is my intense breathing and at this point.
Lately I've felt as if I was being watched, even followed. So, I turned around to see no one except the cleaning clock.
2:13.
Perfect I can make it out of school before the bell rings. Aka, Get out of Bullying Free Card. I walked back up to the office and signed myself out again. As quickly as I walked in, I walked out. Without saying a word.
Looking to the weather to see the clouds getting heavier so I pulled my hood over my head. I hopped on my skateboard and skate along the currently dry cold sidewalk. After moments of skating I see drops instantly form on the sidewalk in abstract motions. One here and there. Then they overlap each other. Great, another storm. My skateboard starts to wobble and my front left wheel poppedoff.
"SHI-" I curse unfinished as I fall on my side. I scrape my hand on the floor followed by my fore arm. Just as u go to look for my skateboard, there goes a truck running right over it. I looked in shock over at my broken skateboard and attempt to grab it. My hand starts to shake from the stinging and I struggle to stand. I stand up eventually and look up to the light gray clouds that dwell above. Somewhere my mom and dad are happy....
"Happy enough to be gone from this God forsaken earth!!!" I yelled while I cry out with rain drops mixing with my tears.
I calmed myself down and looked at my shattered board. I shook my head. My life was a series of bad luck and I prayed for it to stop. I grabbed my skateboard and staggered over to a trashcan. I open the top and throw what was my skateboard in, shutting the lid behind it. I passed on and the rain comes down harder. I ran the best I can under a bus station to be relived from the rain, so my hair wouldn't friz and I wouldn't catch a cold.
I looked at the park behind me for a moment and turned around. I just decided to wait for the bus. I'd rather be dry on a bus than walk several blocks in the freezing rain.
While I wait, I began to feel uneasy and anxious. As if someone was watching me again I glanced over my shoulder towards the park and see no one. Just calm down Kat, no ones out here. Just as I tell myself that I heard a deep laughter. I waited as I close my eyes and try my best to ignore it until I see the bus.
"Thank God" I praised, getting up and looking at bus. I shook off my legs as if I've been sitting for hours, I sort of did.
I see the bus driver talking to a girl. And it just so happened that girl was the Succubus herself, Shari Kibbin. The sluttiest ,most popular, bitch who makes my life hell. In middle school the week after my parents died. She beat me up with 3 other girls because her ex- boyfriend talked to me. After the beating I was sent to the hospital for a fractured wrist, a broken leg, and a sprained ankle. She vexed me so much that I vowed on behalf of everything she has done to me to make her suffer. But I realized she's just another pathetic human who wasted her life having meaningless sex with damaged men who used her to ease stress, and it helps because she's just another easy whore who had a troubled past. I have a bad past as well but hey at least I use my time to use. I mean she sucked off out TA in math in Middle school just to get an A on her final! OH, but I'M the bad guy for having a dead family. Makes total since....Yurt.
I watched as she spoke to the bus driver and she reached her hand down the wheel. My guess, "convincing" him to keep the bus doors shut so I wouldn't get in. The bus sped and passing me as I was forced to look for another option.
"Damn it," I spoke breathlessly and turning around to the dark lifeless park. " I guess this can be a shortcut home." As I gazed into the darkness of the park spreading further as time passed. Time was wasting.
