(Jade's POV)
I was lying on my bed, bored out of my mind, using my laptop to check twitter. It was about 8:00 at night, and all the girls were in their own hotel rooms, getting some much needed rest. My cell phone started ringing from the other side of the room. I groaned with exhaustion from the day as I got up to answer the call. It said I was getting a call from Perrie. I picked up and said my usual greeting to her "Hey how ya doing?" I heard heavy breathing coming from the other end of the line. "Jade, I'm terrified. I-I'm so scared I don't know what to do". I froze as my heart started beating fast. I tried to remain calm, saying "Don't worry Perrie, I will be over there in a sec. Stay right where you are. Everything's going to be alright." Perrie responded with a weak and worried "Please hurry Jade". I hung up, shoved my phone into my pants pocket, put on some flip flops, and darted out the door, into the long, dimly-lit hallway.
I ran to her room and knocked on her door. "Perrie, it's me, open up". The door cracked open slightly a few moments later, and I saw her mascara-streaked face looking at me with pure fear in her eyes. She pulled open the door all the way and quickly pulled me into the room, shutting the door immediately behind me. I was so startled by her actions and the look on her face so I asked "Perrie, what's wrong? What's happening?" She stood in front of me, looking down at her feet. As a tear rolled down her cheek, she looked up at me and said "It's Ryan. I called him." I led her by the hand to the couch so we could sit down and stay as calm as possible. I looked her in the eyes and asked "What did he say to you?". Perrie gulped and said "He's going to find me and do terrible things to me for breaking up with him". She buried her face in her hands and cried. "Oh my god Pez I'm so sorry I told you to call him. I didn't think he'd threaten you again". I put a hand on her arm, trying to make her feel better. She shook her head and said "No, Jade, I had to break up with him. I didn't want to be in a strained relationship with someone who I have no feelings for anymore". It was nice to know she didn't blame me but I still felt so scared and sorry for her. Wanting to provide good care and support for my best friend, I told her "I will let management know about this and make sure that they protect you the best they can". "Thanks Jade but I'm afraid Ryan may be too sneaky and powerful to be stopped by security."
