Chapter 24

Your POV

A firm knock on my door woke me from my restless sleep. I opened my eyes and looked at the clock.
1:06
Great. I trudged out of bed to the door. I tucked my hair behind my ears and opened the door.
Emma the sherif stood there.
"E-Emma...?" I gave her a confused look.
"Hey, y/n right?" I nodded.
"What's up?"
"I heard Gold crossed. I-I'm sorry..." I looked into her eyes, they held the look of hesitation.
"That's not why your here." I crossed my arms.
"Really? I'm not? I am pretty sure I know why I'm here and that's it." Her voice was irritated. I slightly laughed.
"Your a terrible lier Emma."
"Excuse me?!" She sounded blown away.
"I'm a lawyer, I'm pretty good at telling when people are lying, I just thought the sherif would be a good one. Must be in the jeans of your Charming family." Her sigh told me I was on the right track. First case I won in like a year.
"Look, Regina...is-...uhhh...kinda liking the whole fact that Gold no longer remembers...and wants to most likely keep it that way. Personally I don't think it's a good idea. Gold helped us in many way...even when he wasn't...helping. She will most likely do whatever it takes to keep his memory lost." I just nodded.
"Well thanks for informing me on that threat-speaking of threats...what happened to that lion...?" We both looked each other in the eyes. Worry filled her blueish grey irises.
Suddenly we heard a crashing noise from outside and we both bolted outside to see what was going on.

RUMPLES POV

I finely got up at 9. I took a refreshing shower and got dressed into a light blue dress shirt and dark blue tie with charcoal colored pants and vest and blazer.
I took my keys and headed out the door without even eating, I can't eat. All this stress made me loss my appetite. Just the thought of food makes me want to barf.
I got in my car then remembered I don't know where to go.
Yeah...
I took out my phone and went to contacts. That fimular name popped up. Why am I afraid to call her? She said I could call anytime...it just does not feel right...not yet anyways.
I got out of the car and went back inside and looked at the clock.
12:35
How is it already 12:35? Is something wrong with my alarm clock? Eh.
God I'm so tired...do I have any coffee?
I looked around the kitchen and found a coffee maker. Okay where is the coffee stuff to make it?
(P.S I'm super dumb and forgot what that coffee stuff is called because its late and I'm dumb and please keep reading throught my stupidity!😃😝😜😀)
I opened the cabnit to find the coffee(coffee stuff...I like that...run up to a tired person "WHERE DID I PUT MY COFFEE STUFF!!!!????" then run off 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 what's wrong with me...I'm sorry ill stop I know some of you have been waiting a while for this new chapter and not to read my tired stupidly thoughts...at night...sponge bob...I'm writing a new chapter, at night 😉 I'm sorry I will stop.) I made the coffee then sat down and slowly drank it. But to my disappointment it failed to wake me up. Only make me more tired, so I decided to take a walk to get some fresh air. Hopefully that will wake me up.
I walked past people, they muttered and looked away and walked past me with their noses turned. What did I do?
I saw a lion in the distance walking in my direction. People started to run away.
Does this place have a zoo? Who let the lion out?
(That would make an amazing song-sorry.)
As it started to get closer I could see its features better. It was slim with a dark black main and long razor sharp claws and a scar going down one of its eyes. And it had a...smirk...on its face...?
Slowly I started to walk backwards. Then I turned around and started to run with other people and hid behind a car.
Something jumped on the car I was behind. It made a loud crashing noise. I looked up to see the lion, it was showing its sharp teeth in a evil grin...wait this lion is smiling? Evilly?
A green mass of smoke surrounded the lion and I. The car it was on top of was crushed.
The lions eyes stared back into mine. They started to glow. What's going on?!?!?!
Soon two arms wrapped around my waist pulling me back. A woman pulled a gun out on the lion catching its attain.
"You can't win..." The lion spoke in a growl of laughter. THE LION SPOKE?!?!?!
A voice started to fade in and out.
"....,he-,......-wer...-ok......HEY!"
I looked down to see y/n looking up at me, concern in that beautiful face of hers. Her hand were on my upper arms.
I wrapped my arms around her.
"Are you alright?" Her voice was shaky.
"Yes...I'm fine...how about you?"
"Perfect now that I know your not hurt. We need to get out of here." She took my hand and dragged me with her.

Your POV

I took him to my apartment. "Welcome to my home." I gestured around. He gave a small smile. I looked at his eyes. I noticed he had dark circles around them. I wonder if he slept ok.
"Thank you." He stepped closer to me.
"For what?" I lightly tilted my head to the side.
"For saving me, for helping me remember, for being the for me." He seemed closer.
"Well you really don't need to thank me." He inched closer.
"But I do, as of now you saved my life, and I must thank you for that." I looked up at him. He was so close, every time I breathed normal I breathed in his sent. That thick sweet accent filled my ears. It was all I wanted to hear. Nothing but that.
He lifted my chin we his finger.
"I know you said we were dating, And I'm sorry I forgot...I don't understand how I could forget you...something so important." He leaned closer.
I closed my eyes then felt his soft lips touch mine. They were warm and smooth and made the world around me stop.
I slowly started to kiss him back. His hands slid down to my waist.
Then our lips split apart at the same time. We both smiled. Does he remember anything?!
"I...thought that by kissing you...maybe it would help me remember." He gave a smile, I smiled back. His hands still stayed on my sides.
"And did it?"
His smile saddened his eyes darkened and that happiness I felt for that moment started to fade.
"No. It did not help me remember anything. But it did show me why I loved you. And why it saddens me to know that I forgot something like you..." Tears formed in my eyes. "I am sorry..." His warm hands let go of my sides leaving me feel cold and alone.

My heart
Was starting to heal
Then the little pieces
That were starting to go together
Shattered all over again
