My summer break was now over. I was working my ass off almost every single day in order to get money for college. Other than that I didn't do much. I relaxed, hung out with my friends -that I'll surely never see again in my entire life since we all have chosen different locations to heading towards-. All I had was my family that I wouldn't probably see for more than five times per year, or less or maybe more, who would know. My new life was about to start and I was beyond happy and at the same time nervous about it. I had never left Michigan and now I was about to move all the way to California where the sun always shines.
Everything was now settled, my bags were filled with clothing's and other stuff that I needed for my survival. I kissed and hugged my mom before me and dad took off for the airport.
''Are you ready Sunshine?'' Dad asked and we both burst out in laughter! He had always called me that, and I never really liked it, and we both knew it. But surely I really was his little sunshine.
''Yeah Dad, I am but I'm very nervous though,'' I added and looked at him while he was driving the car.
We said goodbye before I took off and I was now heading towards LA and I was really excited.
