When I arrived at my college I got even more nervous. It was huge. I told myself that it was going to be alright and that I will find my ways eventually and that calmed me down a little bit.

I grabbed my phone from my pocket to call my dad to say that I've arrived safely and that I am exactly where I should be, so he could breath out.

After we talked on the phone so put my phone back where I had it and searched my way to find someone that could guide me.
Someone who stood by the front doors was smiling big and handing out information, so I moved my way up to that woman to ask her. She could help me.

"Hi, I'm new here and I was wondering where I can find all the information?" It was obvious that I was new, everyone was. Well a lot of people were.

"Yes dear, here's some information," she said as she handed me a paper filled with text and information.

"And if you head down there, to the people in yellow jackets they will help you to get your key to your dorm," she pointed at the yellow jackets and I scanned where I needed to go.
I thanked her politely and headed to the people in yellow jackets.

The line was not that big yet, not a lot of people had arrived yet.

"Hi, your name please?" A tall women with brown hair and glasses demanded and smiled trying to sound nice.

It didn't work so I gave her my name and didn't bother about it anymore.

"Alexandra Abruzzo." I replied, my dad is Italian so that's why my name is foreign.

She typed in her computer and it didn't take too long before she handed me a key and a map to my dorm.

"Thank you," I smiled and she nodded looking at the next person in line wanting me to leave fast so she could do her job.

I took my suitcases and sat on one of them to explore my map that the lady gave me.
It was crazy how big campus was.

After scanning out the map I finally went to find my room, here they don't have the rules of girls sharing room rooms with girls, or unless you want to. It's up to every person. But I didn't care much, it could be fun sharing room with a boy, unless he brings home girls every night and is really annoying in general.
Now when I think about it, maybe it wasn't such a good idea...

I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best.

I walked five stairs up to find my room. My room number was 301. It didn't take long before I found it. I've heard that the rooms are huge and I'm really looking forward to that.

I found 301 and took out the silvery key to open the door and here I was. My roommate had not arrived yet, so I got to chose which bed I wanted.

I took the bed closer to the window, because it made me feel safe if something would happen.

While packing my bags up and putting everything in to place I heard someone trying to unlock the door. That must be the person I'm sharing this room with.

The door opened and in came a girl with long brown luscious hair and about 5,7 feet tall just like me.

"Hi," she greeted with a big smile throwing back her hair.

"Hello," I warmly smiled back.
