chapter two: heading out with the boys

" spit it out radke you're starting to raise my anxiety ". i looked at him waiting for a response. " well i was wondering if you want to go on tour with us ? warped tour. we all talked about it as a group and everyone is okay with it.  i think it'll be a good time. plus you can be our amazing merch girl. i sighed softly and had a small grin. " of course i will. it would be my upmost pleasure, I'm sure it'll be a great time." i was genuinely excited. how much fun would this really be ? so much, i was ready to get out of town and just have a good time. " well, leaving tomorrow morning so rest up and pack your crap tomorrow" he chuckled as he got up walking to the door. "night bean". i smiled cuddling back into my pillows and blanket.

i woke up the next morning to the house being dead silent. i take it the boys went to go get some food. i took the opportunity to pack my bag then get ready to head out with the boys. once my bag was done i put it by the front door and headed for the shower. right as i stepped in the shower my phone goes off. i peek out and see that ronnies calling. not just calling but wanting to face time. he loved to do that, and i don't mean face time in the shower but face time instead of regular phone call which is fine but this was the time where it didn't need to be. i answered anyway of course only showing my face. " i love you but what do you want ronnie ? and can we change this to a regular phone call ?" he looked at me and started laughing softly, " i don't think so its a bit funny. anyways what do you want from dunkin ? were gonna sit down and eat but ill bring you some food and shit before we head back." i rolled my eyes and groaned at him in annoyance. " light and sweet medium caramel coffee hot. and just get me like sausage egg and cheese on an english muffin. may i shower now ? " what a great time.  "shes in the shower ?! hand it over " ryan says as he takes the phone from ronnie. effin great. this should be fun. he laughs and shakes his head " wow, you really are. this is kinda funny. but you know who would love to say hello and see you in the shower ? no need to answer ill hand it to him. here you go jacky boy." splendid. not how i wanted to be seen today but fuck it. as soon as ryan hands him the phone and he sees me his face instantly starts to turn a bright red. " hello lovely, good morning." i blushed slight as well, " hey jacky. nice to see you. morning to you as well." then ronnie takes the phone back immediately " how about we don't pass my phone around when my sister is naked in the shower. goodbye see you soon anna. " he hangs up. finally. i know i could have just hung up but- i don't know why i didn't to be completely honest. i did not care at this point all i cared about was a nice shower.

back at dunkin doughnuts in jacky's pov:

after ronnie hangs up the phone he gives ryan the most evil look in the world. "seaman you are lucky i need you to play drums." "oh come on ronnie. it was funny!" ryan laughed while everyone stayed silent. i just looked the other way trying not to let anyone see my small grin. i was happy to see her gorgeous face again. not because she was in the shower or anything. i just generally wanted to see her again. i knew i would soon but i just wanted to be around her. try and talk to her. i know im socially awkward and all but i was willing to make a fool out of myself rather then not try at all.

" ronnie i think we can see a bit that she might have some interest for jacky and is that so bad ? i mean come on. " ronnie snapped his head towards him " um yeah i think so. no offense jacky but i just don't think she needs to be with anyone right. especially my band mate. i know jacky's a great guy and all but i trust no one with her. so everyone listen right now and listen good when i say shes off limits. i cant watch her get hurt again and it be my fault. i just cant. " everyone nodded their head except me. i was still off in space thinking about her of course. then ronnie snapped me out of my thoughts. "jacky do you hear me ? did you hear what i said ? off limits. " i just nodded slowly looking down. " yeah i got it ronnie. i think ryans just trying to make you mad. nothing to worry about. i don't have feelings like that towards her. shes just a really sweet beautiful lady who id like to grow close with and bond. " ronnie just stared at me silently. " off limits. friendship better be what you're talking about. " i turned my head away from them " of course ronnie. oh look you're next in line. ill get us all a spot" i said as walking to a table sitting. ronnie is really great and i owe him so much, but were adults though and she should be able to make her own decisions. what was he talking about though ? what did he do that hurt her ?
