Today was my first day back to work and I didn't have time for Luscious and his bullshit. After I clocked in, I made my way to my office. I was on my iPad looking at our roster when some pale skinny bitch knocked on my door.
"Hi, you must be Cookie?" She asked. "Yvette," I snapped. "Oh I'm sorry Luscious told me your name was Cookie," she laughed. "Yeah can I help you with something I'm kinda working here?" I said.
"Okay I just wanted to introduce myself I'm Anika Lyon," she said with her hand extended. I stared at her. "Okay, well uhm Yvette, if you need anything -"
"Look Debbie Allen, I don't care who you are, I don't need your fucking help, so you can let that door knob hit you when you leave," I said as I opened my lap top. I watched as she turned around and left. I shook my fucking head, Luscious was out his rabbit ass mind if that Debbie Allen wanna be was his wife. I pulled out my headphones and started blasting one of 2Pacs songs that Jody had downloaded. I swear this man loved him.
I was so caught up in the music and my work that I didn't notice Luscious had came in until he tapped my shoulder. "What?" I asked. "You working or what?" He asked. "Yes I'm working this is how I concentrate, anything else?" I asked. "Look loose the attitude, I'm gone need you and Anika to get a long because I have some visitors coming in and I think they want to be apart of this company, so to insure they feel welcomed I'm gone need you to get on point," he demanded. "Whatever you say," I said. "Don't start with me today," he said as he walked out. I shook my head, grabbed my phone and buzzed Porsha in.
"Yeah You wanted me Yvette?" She asked. "Is Jamal having a board meeting?" I asked. "Yeah the entire board is here, we got bigger problems Luscious stopped your husband at the front door," she said. "What the hell is Jody doing here?" I asked as I quickly got up.
I got on the elevator and made my way to the first floor. I saw Jody holding flowers and Luscious all up in his face. "Luscious!" I yelled. "What!" He yelled back. "Baby are you okay," I asked as I walked over to Jody and gave him a peck on the lips. "Yeah I'm good I came over here to see you and this fuck nigga got so much shit to say," Jody said.
"Baby wait for me outside," I said as I turned and stared at Luscious. "In here your my bitch, out there your his bitch!" He yelled as he walked off. I took off my shoe and threw it at him but missed. He turned around and glared at me. "Porsha get my shoe!" I yelled as I stomped off passed the security guards. Luscious lost his rabbit ass mind.
