Hey Guys so this is my VERY FIRST EVER One Direction Fan Fic! WOOHOO! I love One Direction it's not even funny how much I love them. They are my life, my heart, and my soul. When I first started listening to them I was depressed, I had a lot going on in life and it took a hard toll on me. My friend showed me One Direction and their peppy music brought my spirits up and I started dancing again, and singing. Their music is so easy to just get up and dance to and it's a good picker-upper. I love to write and I thought this up when I was in la-la land one day and started writing it! Hope you enjoy! Please excuse the grammer/spelling mistakes - at the end of my stories is when I go back and revise everything. :D
OH! P.S. I always rate my stories PG-13 BECAUSE I want to be on the safe side!

In all honesty, I really didn't want to be here tonight. The only reason I came was because Hailey dragged me here. If you know Hailey - then you know how hard it is to say no to her. It's like trying to tell a puppy that you hate it - impossible. So I wasn't surprised that I finally agreed to go to this concert with her tonight. All she had to do was ask and then give me her famous puppy dog eyes and I was willing to rent a frickin' limousine to drive us the hour to Hartford. I didn't though - I don't have that kind of money.
Hailey Conner was my best friend in the entire world. I've known her since the first day of Kindergarten - where we became inseparable. Now, thirteen years later, we are both eighteen and newly graduated seniors right out of high school. She has been talking about this concert for two months now and was so excited that this morning she woke me up at five - if you know me, and then you know I am certainly not a morning person. But, of course for her, I grudgingly got up and listened to her babble all day about the infamous One Direction.
Truthfully I don't hate their music, I actually enjoy it. Though I would never tell Hailey in a million years - I was the tinniest bit excited about being at this concert. Hold up, I may be a small fan - but I am definitely not one of those "OMG it's One Direction I am going to faint and die because they are god's gift to Earth" fans who hang up five million posters of them all around their room. That is Hailey's job - and she fit's the description perfectly. I can name each one of the five boys, and I keep up with what's going on by reading the magazines every now and then but other than that - I just listen to their music.
Their music is something else entirely. It speaks to me and surrounds me - speaking any and every feeling I have ever experienced. Music is my favorite thing in the world - a true piece of me that makes up half of my heart. This is why I wanted to be a singer/song writer. To share my message with the world and do what I love. As a musician myself, I know how hard it is to find musicians these days who sing from their heart - about something important to them, and that is why I love One Direction's music - because they speak from their heart and don't care if anyone hears. That is what I want to do one day.
I look at Hailey from my seat in the giant auditorium. Her blonde head was bobbing up and down excitedly as she waited for the show to begin. Which, in my opinion, is insane considering we were literally the first to show up in this entire stadium.
Hailey turned and started to stand up, pulling me with her. "What are we doing?" I asked her while grabbing my purse and slinging it over my head. I hated purses that just sit on your shoulder - they are so uncomfortable. So I always buy ones that have a long strap that can go over my head that way I don't even have to hold it in place. Hailey on the other hand, was all about fashion and loved to dress up in the latest styles. This is why she was toting around a new Coach purse that was so small I didn't see how she fit that on her little shoulder at all.
