*Quinn's POV*
Sitting in class was like sitting in a literall mental institute, where you can do nothing but stare off into space. It was B-O-R-ing. The whole time I just thought about lunch.

I don't sit in the cafeteria. I sit under what Kaya calls the 'Awkward Bish Tree.' And since she wants to stay 'clean' she won't say the actual curse word, but instead makes it sound different.

He's gonna want to sit in the cafeteria, not some tree. It's Autumn, so the leaves will be falling from it. I'm destined to eat alone and I'm okay with that.

Dylan's POV
She was literally staring off into space, if she wasn't she would of noticed me staring at her by now.

I just noticed something. She's wearing a SWEATER. It's like 100° outside!

The loud bell rang, signaling the teacher to tell us to "GET OUT." *A/N- Not kidding my Language teacher once said as a joke, "GET OUT MAGGOTS" and we were all like "YES MA'AM."*

Lunch came quicker than expected. I wasnt that hungry as soon as I seen the giant lunch line. I can wait three more hours till I'm home.

I search the large cafeteria for the familiar face of Quinn, but I don't see her anywhere. I guess I could ask Kaya, if that's a good idea. I mean, she would know where she is.

I walk up to their table. Kaya has the usual Scott and Derek following her, but other than them she looks to be mobbed by everyone else. " PERSONAL SPACE" she yells at the top of her lungs, "CLAUSTROPHOBIA PEOPLE!"

Maybe this wasn't a good idea.

"Um, Kaya?" I say, not to loud, not really wanting her to hear me. "Yes, Dill Pickle?" Wait. What? That's new. I don't think I like that either. "Yeah. Um, do you know where I can find-" "A seat? Of course you can sit here!" She says, pushing a girl to make room next to her. She shouts her name to get up,"JASMINE GET THE HELL UP!"

"No! I was wondering where I could find Quinn."

Kaya's POV
WHAT?!? QUINN?!? Hold up. Quinn. The Nerd who sits outside under the Bish Tree?
Nopeity nope. I'm not letting her corrupt Dylan! He's going to be my boyfriend anyways.

"She's sitting, guess where, outside. In the dirt. You don't want to be there, do you?" I winked. Any boy should already be willing to die for me. Like, you know, my mob.

"Actually yes. Thank you for helping." I could basically hear the desperate in his voice. He so wants to sit with me. Too bad, I think he's already corrupted. "Your welcome, see you around, Dill Pickle." He'll come back

Dylan's POV
I tried to sound as bitter as possible while speaking with her. Dill Pickle? Again? I might of only been here for a day but I don't care if I'm making enemies.

Outside? It's way to hot outside. Was Kaya lying about it? Who knows, she could be in the lunch room somewhere with all her friends.

I decide to check outside. "Dylan? How'd you find me here?" She says, slightly surprised. Kaya wasn't kidding. It is a beautiful tree though, with Cherry colored leave falling around her.

Quinn's POV
How'd he know to look here? I had my sleeves rolled up, didn't I? I quickly look at my arms. Phew, still covered. The blade was in the tree though, so I had to make sure he didn't see that. "Kaya told me where you were. Made for a awkward conversation. She literally pushed a girl of a chair." He said, sitting down next to me. "That'd be Jasmine. Loyal servant to the queen," I slip the blade into my pocket. Hidden enough.

"This is where you spend lunch?" He says, looking up and around my little 'picnic space.' "Pretty much. Sometime the roof door is unlocked though. It's nicer ul there."

Dylan's POV
She kept a hand over her pocket like she was hiding something. I only just met her this morning, it would be rude to pry. "What's in your pocket?" I couldn't resist asking. "Nothing." She quickly removes her hand. I see a flash of silver, but ignore it.

We talk the rest of lunch and exchange phone numbers. I can already tell this is the start of a great friendship.
