Protect Me?

Chapter 9

Harry's P.O.V

After the incident I took her out of my room and carried her into Niall's room for the night. I sat her down on the bed and said, "I'll be right back."

"W-where are you going?" She asked.

"To get you some clothes to wear." I said. I kissed her forehead and left the room. I went back to my room and looked through my closet. I pulled out one of my t-shirts and my sweats and went back to Niall's room. I saw her on the bed staring at her hands. "Here you go Em." I said handing her the clothes.

"Thanks Harry." Emerald said. She went into the bathroom in Niall's room and changed into the clothes I gave her. Emerald came out and stumbled over to me. I noticed her face, it was beat red and some parts looking kinda dark. Is that also some blood?

"Emerald, did...did he hit you?" I asked getting a better look at her cheek.

She nodded.

I gave her a hug before leading her downstairs into the kitchen. The place was still a mess and I saw the boys cleaning it up. I washed a cloth under the faucet and dabbed her cheek clearing some of the blood.

"Ahh." She winced.

"I'm sorry Emerald but I need to treat this." I said continuing to wipe the bruise and cut. I put that away and grabbed a bandage putting it on the cut. I went to the freezer and grabbed an ice pack and handed it to her. She put it to her face and walked over to the mess standing there quietly. The rest of the boys and I cleaned up the house and everything looked pretty normal. Well, besides that broken window over there...

"Hey Em, want to have a pizza and movie night?" I asked trying to get her mind off of today.

"Yeah that sounds great." Emerald said smiling. I smile back and start grabbing some blankets an pillows from upstairs. When I come back down I see Emerald by the movies.

"What movie are we watching?" I asked.

"Perks of being a Wallflower." Emerald says happily. I see her put the movie in and run to the kitchen.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Making popcorn!" She shouted from the kitchen.

I laughed and set up the couch for the movie. Em came back a few minutes later with a big bowl of popcorn. She sat down next me as I pressed play on the movie.

Emerald's P.O.V

The movie was really good. I loved all the twists that happened in it. By the end of the movie my head was on Harry's shoulder as his arm snaked around my side.

"That was a good movie." Harry said.

"You didn't even watch it, you fell asleep only 10 minutes into it!" I said laughing.

"Well looks like we're going to have to watch it again sometime then."

"Yeah when you don't fall asleep during it." I said.

"Hey you liked it and that was all that mattered." He smiled and looked down at me.

"What are you staring at?"

"My gorgeous girlfriend." He said. I blushed a slight pink. "What are you looking at?"

"My idiot boyfriend."

"How am I an idiot?" He asked.

"Because I said you are." I said sticking my tongue out. He pouted and pecked my lips.

"Your lucky your cute." Harry said getting up off the couch.

"What would have happened if I wasn't?" I asked.

"I would have done this!" He says tickling my sides. I burst out in uncontrollable laughter trying to push his hands away. He smiles and finally I push his hands away, breathing heavily.

"I....can't.....breathe...." I say taking in sips of air as I laid on the couch.

"Oh no! You need mouth to mouth!" Harry yelled. He got on top of me and gave me a gentle kiss. I kiss back as he put his hands on my waist deepening the kiss a bit. My hands go to his neck playing with his curls.

"Get a room you two!" Zayn yelled from the top of the stairs.

"Get a cave!" Harry yelled back breaking the kiss.

I laughed as Zayn glared at Harry as he returned to his room.

I slipped out from under Harry and grabbed one of the blankets. Harry told me I could sleep in Niall's room for the night while he slept on the couch.

"Harry?" I asked.

"Hmm?"

"Is it okay if I sleep on the pull out couch with you?" I asked.

"You sure Em? I mean you can sleep in a nice bed with Niall instead of a lumpy couch." Harry said. He was being genuinely thoughtful but I really want to just be with him and wake up to him.

"Please?" I said.

"Yeah it's fine. Let me just pull it out." Harry said.

He pulled out the couch and set two pillows down. He laid out a blanket and put another one in top of it. I slipped in and Harry did on the other side. I scooted close to him and felt his warm body against mine. His hand went to my waist and I felt him scoot me closer to him.

"Goodnight Em." Harry said kissing my forehead.

"Night." I said smiling.

Sorry if this is kinda short but it will pick up soon. Also I want to dedicate this chapter to my best friend for giving me some of the ideas for this chap. Also, I may not update as much in July because there is a lot going on in that month but I will definitely try too. Stay beautiful my lovelies!
