Chapter 11

Harry's P.O.V

Once everyone was ready we headed out and took a long drive to the carnival. Once we got to the carnival we piled out and stood at the entrance. "So what should we do first" I ask.

"FOOD!" Niall shrieked.

"But didn't you just eat Niall?" Emerald asks.

"Something you should know about Niall is that he is ALWAYS hungry." Zayn said.

"He's like a human vacuum." Louis joked.

"Very funny guys, but seriously can we get some food?" Niall said doing a puppy dog look.

"I guess-"

"Yay!" Niall said cutting me off and dragging everyone to the shack. We ordered our food and sat at a table. When it was ready Niall and Liam went to go get the food. They came back a few minutes later and we saw them with two trays stacked with food.

"Jeez Niall." Emerald said. He gave a smile as he stretched his arm behind his head. The food was passed around and we ate creating small talk.

"I think we should go on the twisty turny ride over there!" Louis said. We all turned and looked at the ride. It was long and had turns that did a full 360.

"Ah hell no!" Zayn shouted.

"It's just a ride." Louis says.

"Yeah a ride that will throw me around like a rag doll." Liam said.

"You guys are a bunch of wimps! I'll go with you Louis." Emerald said.

"Yay!" Louis said hugging her. My face was probably burning with jealousy.

"Are you two coming?" Em asked to me and Niall.

"Nahh, I might throw up if I do." Niall said.

"Y-Yeah i'll go." I said.

"Yay!" Emerald cheered. Louis and the rest of the boys looked at me in disbelief. I don't like roller coasters or heights in general but I'm gong because I don't trust Louis. After we all finished we split up. Niall, Liam, and Zayn are going to go on a different ride on the otherside of the park while Louis, Em, and I go on the twisty turny ride. We walk up to the line and its barely long. We walk up the staircase and I can feel my stomach dropping already.

"Are you okay Harry? You don't look well." Em says worried.

"Yeah I'm fine." I say walking up.

"No he'a not, he's afraid of heights and roller coasters." Louis said.

"Harry if your scared of roller coasters and heights don't go on with us then." Em said.

"But I want to." I said.

"Are you sure about this?" Louis and Emerald chorused.

"No."

"Harry then don't go on. We'll be down before you know it." Emerald said. I nodded as I walked down the stair case. I watched them reach higher and higher as I waited on the bench for them.

Emerald's P.O.V

I watch as Harry goes down the stairs. Louis urges me up more as the line moves.

"You nervous?" Louis asks.

"A little." I say.

"Aww someone's scared." Louis joked. I stole his red beanie and stuck my tongue out at him.

"That's a good look for you. The red beanie with that outfit." Louis said.

"Thanks." I say posing stupidly. He laughs and smiles that cheeky grin of his. We're at the top now, only seconds from going on. The man tells us and some others to hop in the seats and me and Louis take front row. We fasten our seat belts as the man pulls the bar down to secure us in. My hands got the bar and I begin to breathe heavy; Louis takes notice.

"It's going to be okay Em. It'll be more fun then scary." Louis says as he put his hand onto mine.

"Thanks." I say. I think my face is turning red from Louis hand being on mine. It was warm and comforting. The ride started and I gripped the bar tightly. Louis laughs at me as his hand doesn't leave mine. I kinda like it there. What are you saying Emerald you like Harry! Your dating Harry for christ sake! Stop feeling this way towards his bestfriend. My thoughts were interrupted by the drop of the roller coaster. Everyone screams even me and Louis. My scared face disappears and an excited one replaces it. I'm smiling from ear to ear and I look at Louis who is doing the same thing. We go through turns and loopty loops then finally the ride stops. We all get out and Louis and I run over to Harry.

"How was the ride?" Harry asked.

"Awesome!" Louis shouted.

"Incredible!" I shout. Harry laughs and stands up.

"So where to next?" Harry asked.

"Let's do some of the carnival games." I suggest.

"Alright sounds good." Louis says. The three of us walk over to the games and stop at a basketball one.

"Wanna play this one?" Harry asked.

"Yeah sure." I said. The two of them went closer by it and I stop there and watched them a bit. Before I knew it I was pulled away from them with my mouth covered. I squirmed all around but whoever it was kept me still. We walked through the carnival and I saw the entrance sign getting farther away. Was I being kidnaped? I felt something sharp pierce my skin by my neck pain shooting through me.

"It's okay, your fine." A mans voice said. "Your not in any danger." The voice sounded familiar. I couldn't match his voice with a face though. My body felt numb and I couldn't move anymore. My vision became blurry and I couldn't see anything anymore. I heard muffled yells and a car driving fast. Then I blacked out.

Harry's P.O.V

Me and Louis were playing the basketball game for a bit and I beat Louis three times.

"In your face!" I shouted at him.

"Yeah yeah, whatever Styles." Louis said. I turn around to Em but I didn't see her.

"Emerald?" I called.

"You don't think she ran away, and left us...do you?" Louis asked.

"I....I...don't know...." I mumble. We run and run around looking for her, shouting her name everywhere. "Emerald!" I shout.

"Em! Emerald! Emerald!!!" We shouted. Finally we saw her with some older man in the parking lot. We saw her try and struggle out of his grasp but he wouldn't let her leave it. We run faster as we see he injected a needle into her neck making her go limp. He looks up and saw us and threw her into the trunk of his car and hopped in himself. His engine revs up and he pulls out and drives away. Louis and I are running fast as can be but our Vampire strength is failing us, we haven't drank anyone's blood in a while. The car began to slowly fade as me and Louis fell to the floor panting like dogs.

"She's gone." Louis said.

"Not for long she's not." I said feeling my blood boil.
