Mother, we don't usually take this way when we go to the store." Iris said. My skin turned cold and pale.
"I know dear, that road is closed, and if we take that road they will find us." I lied quickly. She nodded. Two miles from the bridge. Just two more miles and it'll all be over. This family won't have to suffer anymore. The demons won't be after us for any longer. We will leave them to torture everyone else, like they did to us.
We finally arrived at the abandoned bridge on Raven Lane. The bridge was broken in half, ruins and water running through the middle.
"Momma, what are doing here?" Hazel asked, wide eyed. I tried to speak but nothing came out. I led my two children out of the car and to the edge of the bridge.
"Mother? What's happening? What are you doing?" Iris exclaimed as I grabbed Hazel and sat on the edge of the bridge.
"Everybody dies someday, Iris. Come on Hazel, jump." She obliged.
"Hazel! No!" Iris screamed. Her mother had already jumped. She's gone. She sobbed into her jacket.

"Hazel! No!" I screamed as my mother had jumped. She's gone. Tears streamed down
my face. I had to do something before Iris followed mom.. Maybe I can save her, I have to. I tugged Iris back by her sleeve.
"Think about what you're doing!" I shouted. The wind tugged her away from me, and she fell. What had I done? My only true loves, ripped away from me at my own hands. I had to go with them. I couldn't stand being here alone with the people mom has been telling us about. I jumped.
