That's when it hit me. There was no them. Everything was a dream. A hallucination. Nothing was after my family. They didn't kill my husband - I did. There was no reason to throw out my TV and radio. I didn't have to isolate my family from the world. There was no reason to force my children to kill themselves. It was all inside my head. Then I hit the water.

I turned on the TV, and switched to the news. "Breaking news!" the announcer exclaimed. My brother, Patrick, turned towards the television with curiosity. "Eve Hallman, a mother of two, and her two young daughters Iris and Hazel Hallman were found dead, under the abandoned bridge at Raven Lane. The deaths are suspected as murder-suicide. Eve Hallman was diagnosed schizophrenic and it is suspected she forced her children off the bridge because of that. Any other information gathered about the family or the case will be brought to you as soon as possible."
Patrick murmured something under his breath.
"What was that Pat?" I asked.
"They must've been chasing her too.." he whispered.
