Prologue

As humans we crave affection, the warmth associated with falling in love and having someone reciprocate it. Unless spoken, we are unable to be certain whether someone truly loves us. They may act or talk differently, but we are unsure as to if their feelings are genuine.

A Soul-Mate  is a commonly used term to describe a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner. Our Soul-Mate is the person we believe we'll grow old with, our one true love.

However, falling in love occurs more than once a lifetime... for both the right and wrong reasons.

Apart from this, the term 'love' is thrown around in society, with its deeper meaning lost.

We 'love' our favourite celebrity.

We 'love' dogs.

We 'love' our friends.

We 'love' books.
So when we fall in love with something or someone, what are we really saying?

What if we were able to determine exactly how another felt towards us, if they truly loved us back?
