Chapter 3 : Leaving To California

"Hey you !" Elle waved.
"Uh not her please" I muttered under my breath. No offense but she's got serious issues. She used to bully me in school and when she got to know that I was a racer and that my dad is a famous racer she wanted to be my friend.
"Oh my after a long time right ?" She said flipping her hair.
"You saw me yesterday Elle" I said taking my books out and shutting the door.

"Ah yeah I know" she grinned.
"When's the next race ?"She grinned again.
"Friday as usual" I was about to leave but she stopped me.
"Oh my god I'm so excited! Meet you there babes bye love you" told you that she's got issues.

I wasn't in a mood to talk to Nikki or Emily. Not because of yesterday but it's just that I'm still mad at Hunter.
I had Chemistry next and I walked to class but someone stopped me.

"Mad at me butterfly ?" Hunter asked holding me from my wrist.
"I'm not a butterfly and I have no interest in talking to you" I shoved him but he still caught me.
"You can leave that easily !" He pushed me towards the wall and blocked me.
"I have a class to get to now so MOVE"
"We both have the same class so chill cupcake" he smirked.

"Your absolutely disgusting Hunter and you are scared of me !" I pushed him and he let me go. I heard him chuckling.

"Okay class as I was talking about the chemical reaction of ....." Ms.Diana continued. This was gonna be a long day.

"We are sorry"All of them said at once with pity faces except for Blake who was trying hide his laugh.
"Well I'm sorry too and Blake stop laughing you ass" I said poking him.
"Okay"He laughed again and sat down.

"Hunter over here man !" Ashton called out. He did not !
"Ashton you mad" I whispered.
"Come on AJ chill" he nudged me.
"Hey guys!" Hunter smiled for once. FOR ONCE ! Everyone returned the hey's and hi's except for me.
"So Hunter what made you came back?" Nikki asked smiling.
"I don't know I missed this place, the races and the racers" Hunter looked at me and smirked. Why me ? I have never raced him till now.
"Oh right !" Blake said nodding sarcastically.

"How's Elle ?" I asked forcing a big smile.
"What about Elle ?" He asked me looking confused.
"Well she's your girlfriend!" I gave him a 'Duh' look.
"She never was and never will be" he said it out loud laughing.
"Right ! I forgot that you only have one night stands" I shook my head.
"Yeah !" The tension between us was high it was so thick that I could take a knife and cut it into pieces. Everyone else in the table just kept eating.

"Why did you quit yesterday?" Hunter asked. not this shit again.
"I didn't you did !!" I said frowning.
"Okay you both enough!" Emily screamed.
"What she said !" Nikki added.

"Anyways I'll meet you guys after school ! Bye" I waved and went to my next class and no one stopped which kinda hurt but it was fine.
The rest of the day was absolutely boring and Hunter was extremely annoying. I found out that he's in most of my classes which was a big disadvantage. All he ever did in class was smirk and wink at me like some stupid jock.

After talking all the people after school just as we discussed I headed home. I have a load of homework to do.But the best part is in 2 weeks summer holidays will be given. Yay!!

"Honey it's important just take a seat" my mom stated.
"Mom your scaring me, what's wrong? Where's dad ?"
"Dad went out to do some groceries" she said.
"Now tell me"

"We have to move to California" she said looking down at her shoes.
"What ?? Why ?" I asked confused.
"I got a transfer and I don't want to loose the opportunity" Argh !!!
"Mom no ! I have only 1 year more for graduation and I'm not leaving to anywhere. Mom you know how hard it is for me to adopt and make friends! Just don't make it more harder by trying to switch places. I'm not going anywhere !" I stood up to leave.

"That is not how you should talk to your mom !" My dad said in a firm voice.
"Shouldn't we make our mom happy? I mean she loves what she does" my dad said kissing the top of her head.
"Dad !! Is it only mom who you care about ?? Oh yeah so you don't care if your daughter's happy because 'we should make our mom happy'" I mimicked.

"Watch your tone young lady!" My dad hushed.
"I will do what I want! All this time we have been moving from one place to another all because of mom ! I have a life too dad ! I want to live it the way I want to as well!" I screamed.
"April Jeannette watch your words !" My mom screamed.

"Fine both of you can fuck off to anywhere you want ! I don't care I'm not LEAVING FOR YOUR INFORMATION bye !" I walked back out and shut the door hard.

I'm girl with anger management issues. After everything that happened in the past I couldn't take it. In the past I was never anyone's favorite but after we moved here everything changed. I've got amazing friends and a track to race the limits. I know what I said in there was rude and horrible but that wasn't me talking. Anger completely takes over and ruins everything. I feel terrible right now and that's why I went to the nearest bar.

"Give me two shots" I asked the bartender.
"Coming right up" he winked. The bartenders nowadays are way too cute. Well you must be wondering how exactly I got in well one of my cousins own this place so he lets me sneak at all times. Perks of having cool cousins.
"Here ya go" the bartender handed me the shots.
"Thanks" I forced a smile.
"I'm Toby call me if you need anything" he smiled and walked off.

I gulped down the liquid which had a burning sensation in my throat. I finished the two and called out for Toby but he was never there so I poured myself another two.

"Isn't that a little too much for you ?" A familiar voice spoke right beside me.
"Fuck off" I ignored Hunter who took a seat next to me and got a beer.
"Now now cupcake. Don't swear." He laughed.
"Seriously cant you like get lost ! You know like disappear" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"This isn't Hogwarts babe" he sipped the beer and answered.

I gulped down the rest of the liquid and got the bottle but Hunter stopped me.
"Let go" I shook my wrist.
"That's enough!"
I wrestled him and he finally gave up and watched me drink the whole bottle. My vision was blurry and I could barely stand up. I stood up to leave but tripped and fell flat on my face.

"See this is why I stopped you" Hunter picked me up.
"Let.. Hiccup ..me be" I said swaying but Hunter tightened his grip around my waist.
"Let's go home shall we ?" He asked.
"I don't hiccup want to go !! They are gonna take me hiccup away !" I said angrily I could feel tears forming up but I wiped them away.
"Who ?" He asked.
"No one you need hiccup to worry about!" I said sitting down on the street.
"Cmon we need to go" he dragged me.

"Wake up Aj" someone shook my shoulder.
"Hmm ..."

Hunter's POV :

She showed no sign of waking up so I carried her up bridal style and walked to her home.
"My god ! Where was she ?" He mom rushed to me.
"In a bar" I replied and gently put her down on the couch. She was sleeping so peacefully like an angel.
"Was she drinking Hunter?" He dad asked.
"Yes Mr.Hughes" I saw how worried they were but I guess they had a fight.
"Thank you so much son for bringing her" her mom thanked me sobbing.
"I'll take a leave Goodnight" I left.

Aj Aj Aj ! Why can't I stop thinking about her. She never failed to amaze me. Street Racer ? Party freak ? But she got the most innocent looks ever. Trust me Looks can be shit deceiving.

I went home and went straight to bed but my mind wouldn't just stop thinking about her.
