Chapter 21 : Extatic.

Hunter's POV :

I can feel AJ loosing control over the car but she quickly slows up and takes the car back in like and speeds over to the line.
It's neck and neck right now. All 5 cars are catching up with each other. It's anyone's game at the moment. AJ switches on nitro and finishes the race. Her smile was the worthy thing outta of this race for me.

" I WON ! HOLYSHIZZLENITS !" She screams inside the car laughing. So cute.
"You did ! Super proud butterfly." I said kissing her on the cheek.
I handed Steve the car keys and told him to get it washed and left to where all the people were surrounding AJ.

I saw Derek fuming mad walk away looking at AJ but AJ was too over joyed to notice him. I wanted to talk to him so i hurriedly followed him to the main road.

"Derek ! Hold up." I shouted just so he could hear me. He's head snapped back and looked straight at me.
"What do you want now ?" He asked without breaking the strong eye contact. Always looking for a fight.
"We need to talk." I said.
"I don't need to talk with you. Get the fuck outta my face now." Derek stormed off.
Gonna have to talk to him and solve shit. I know he's like this because of gang work.

AJ's POV :

I was genuinely happy that I won the race tonight. Finally ! Dad would be super proud and only if mom was here. I mean the real one.
"BABY ! So glad you're alive." Nikki and Em said in unison and hugged me so tight.
"I won !" I shouted again. Steve came up and handed me the cash and holy hell. That's a lot of money.
"I can drive you to school AJ." Ashton said smiling.
"I can do your homework everyday AJ" Mike said.
"Gold diggers." Nikki mimicked.
"We only joking so." Such men.

"Can we party already ?" Blake asked sounding enough of the drama.
"Mine in 10." Ken mentioned and everything screamed in excitement.
Ken's house or mansion I'd rather say is the closest plus he's parents are away for business and he was anyways having a party tonight. Perfect.

"THIS PARTY IS GONNA BE SO LIT." Nikki whispered in my ear. Jee so much of excitement.
"Gosh Niks ! Can you calm down already." I said rolling my eyes.

My eyes searched for Hunter but I never saw him after he got outta the car. He must've got a call or something so I texted him that everyone heading to Ken's and to meet us all there in 10.
I walked over to rookie when a saw a hooded person walking away from my car as fast as possible when I saw the person.

"Hey !" I ran behind to see who it was.
"Hey ! Hold up." The person only ran faster. Finally caught up. I turned the person around from the shoulder and it was a woman.

"Who are you ? And why were you hiding near my car ?" I asked.
"Uh ---" She didn't get words out and my phone rang. It was Nikki. I quickly declined the call.
"Uh what ?" I asked again. I couldn't see the face exactly because not once did she look at me and only stared at her feet. So weird.
"Congratulations on the win !" And she walked off.
Huh ? That's it. Why are people so weird. Yikes. I shook my head. She was probably someone who really loves cars and racers and sneaked to watch one. I mean I've done that so I can only relate. I got in and went over to Ken's. I called Hunter again but it only went to voice mail. Where the hell did he disappear to.

I pulled over at Ken's and saw Hunter's car. I was so relieved. Quickly made my way inside to meet the others.
"Where the hell you've been woman ?" Ashton exclaimed.
"This woman was hiding behind my car and congratulated me on the win. Was so weird." I said.
"Probably a fan who snuck out." Blake shrugged.
"Eh. Where's Hunter ?" I asked.

"Ooooooo look who's searching for Hunter boy now." Nikki winked. Jeez. Everyone went nuts when I said yes. Still taken back by it.
"Just tell me Nikki." I face-palmed myself.
"Just right out he's there AJ." Ken smiled and directed me.
"Thanks Ken." I hurriedly walked out to the massive garden. I probably need a map. Garden is huge like the one at Buckingham palace.
I called out his name but no answer. I walked towards the edge near the river to find him sitting on the bench with a beer.

"Hey. You okay ?" I sat down next to him and asked.
"Hey butterfly. Yes I am, just tired." He smiled.
"Where did you disappear to after the race ?" I asked because he did disappear.
"Sorry got an important call I had to attend to." He said taking a sip of the beer.
"You seem tired do you wanna go home ?" I asked holding his hand.
"Hey I am not that weak. I can take this." He smirked. Always with the smirking. He pulled me closer to his body and snuggled.

"Can I ask you question Hunter ?" I asked resting my head on this shoulder.
"Shoot."
"Why do you call me butterfly?" I asked, whispering.
"That's secret." He said and I could almost feel him smirking even though I can't see his face.
"Please." I begged lowering my voice trying to act cute.
"One day I'll you now let's just enjoy some tranquility and head inside for a party." He said kissing my forehead.
"Meanie !"

It's so weird as to how this happened. Hunter was the last person I wanted to date but hey just like how shit happens, miracles happen too.

Secret person POV :

"She was beautiful. Just the way I imagined. She's mine and I'm gonna make her mine again soon." I thought to myself and walked away.
