Chapter 15 : Je crios que je t'aime bien.

Aj's POV :
Title translation: I think I like you.

"I think I do." I finally admitted it.
I've felt a strange liking towards Hunter I mean he's a total dick but a softie on the inside. He cares unlike other jerks.

"Then tell him stupid." Emily screamed.
"SHUSH." I hushed her.
"Sorry I'm just extremely excited." She grinned.

"Nothing is gonna happen Em. Ew I don't do relationships and feelings. Racing is life that's it." I stood up to go grab a water bottle.

What I said was true. We are just different in our own ways.

"C'mon Aj, things can change you know. Maybe give it a chance ?" Nikki said sitting on the island.

"And what Nikki ? Get hurt again like a fool, no even worse get raped by the only guy you trusted and loved ?! Derek ruined me. He took away the most precious thing of mine and threw it away. I've never trusted anyone after him. I'm not scared it just disturbs me. A lot." I said with a tear rolling down.

Those days were cold and harsh. I hated every minute of my life. I was the talk of people. My name went up on every newspaper, magazine and tv. "The girl who got raped by her boyfriend in public."  I was helpless. Ever since then I've turned into a heartless person. I hate this but it keeps me out of so many problems. After all life is never fair.

"But your stronger now Aj ? We are all here to protect you." Nikki hugged me.
"I know I'm glad." I flashed a faintish smile.

"But I don't believe in love guys. I mean after Derek I lost hope then my mom, she left. What the heck is love ? Does it exist ? It's bullshit." I said rolling my eyes.

"One fine day you'll believe us bubs and then you'll know. So stop acting like a bad ass." Emily nudged laughing.
"I am a bad ass bro." I said laughing too.
"I love you whores." I said pulling them into a hug.

"Ewwwwwwwww. What is happening? Can I open my eyes ?" Ashton yelled.

Great the only people missing are here too now. Drama.
All of the boys were here including Hunter. Act normal Aj. You got this. I'm good at drama and I can pass the test.

"Please shut up." Nikki groaned.
"When did you turn into lesbian Em ?" Ashton pecked her neck teasingly causing her to squeak.
"Ash." She whacked him. Cute couple.

Maybe love does exist but ew no. It's all an illusion.

"So how about a visit to the beach girls ?" Blake suggested causing everyone to say yes, very loudly.
"I'm gonna get sun burnt." Nikki fake cried.
"Fuss queen. Beach is life." I said laughing. I saw Hunter kept looking at me but I ignored or tried my best to.

"This is amazing.!" I yelled.

We were all in the water and it was good. Relaxing and soothing. It wasn't crowded for once and we had the freedom of not being judged.

After a dip the guys went for a surf as we were in the shore admiring I suppose. Hunter's body, hot damn. Greek God in the making for sure. So hot like is it even allowed ? He's pretty darn good surfer as well. Two turn ons at once. Too much to handle.

"He likes you too man." Nikki said smiling.
"Ugh not this again." I mumbled.
"Did you see how he was drooling over you when you came out in that bikini ?" She asked with a priceless face.

"Duh ! I'm the next Kendall." It cracked up both of us.
"However, the feeling is mutual nah. Tell him please." She begged.
"Nope I'm sorry Nikki but I am not doing it whatsoever." I stood up and headed over to the waves again for a dip.

"PICTURE TIME."
Nikki yelled and everyone came in. She set the timer on the camera and came over to the water. Nikki got on top of Blake's shoulders, Em on top of Ashton and I had to get on top of Hunter's. The first picture was clicked. Right after I lost balance and fell in to the water almost when Hunter caught me.

"Won't let you fall butterfly." He smiled and then it really got me.
"I think I like you Hunter." I whispered to myself.
