We Meet Again [A Hyun Family Fanfiction]

Chapter 1

"Eomma..."

"Ne sweetheart." Baekhyun switch her gaze from the frying pan to the little boy who is standing beside her.

"What's for breakfast?" Taehyung take a seat at the dining table.

"Sausages and omelettes." Baekhyun turn off the stove.

"Eomma. I dreamt about a guy. I don't know who he is but he kinda looks like me." said Taehyung while eating the sausages.

Baekhyun stay quiet.

'It's not him.........isn't it?'

"Umm. Maybe you saw him somewhere before. Finish your breakfast. I'll send you to school."

"Okay."

After they finished their breakfast, Baekhyun grab her Ferrari car keys and send Taehyung to school.

"Eomma, will you pick me up today?"

"Uhm I'm not sure yet dear. Why?"

"I don't want to go home with Dohee unnie (Baekhyun's secretary) anymore."

"Why? She's nice after all."

"She is. But... I want to go home with you."

Baekhyun think for awhile.
"Okay wait for me. I'll pick you up"

"Promise?" Taehyung asked.

"Promise."

"Ok then. Annyeong~~"

After that, she drove off to her office.

Baekhyun nods at her secretary and enter her room.

She handles her father's company in New York after she left Korea 10 years ago. She moved to New York when she is pregnant for Taehyung and he is 10 now. The reason? Not everyone knows about that.

Baekhyun shook her head. Suddenly, she heard a knock from the door.

"Come in."

Her secretary approach her.

"Um ma'am you have a meeting at 3 with Jung Group at The Plaza Hotel."

"What? Jung Group?"

"Yes."

"3 pm? But Taehyung.. I have to pick him up from school."

"I can do that for you" Dohee smiled.

"I promised him. Hm.... Looks like I can't do that today. Can you pick him up for me?" said Baekhyun.

"Of course mam. Well if you excuse me.." Dohee went out from the room.

"Taehyung gonna be so mad at me" she sighed.

The Plaza Hotel , NYC - 3 p.m.

After half an hour waiting, Jung Group arrived at the hotel. Baekhyun's heart beats fast endlessly. Presenting a man, he looks shocked.

"B-baek-"

"Annyeonghaseyo Mr. Jung. It's been awhile. Can we start our meeting now?" Baekhyun cut Daehyun's words off.

The others who joined the meeting stay quiet. Some of them knew about what's up between these two.

"Uhm- of course."

Baekhyun smiled bitterly and they start the meeting.

'We meet again...'

After a long day, Baekhyun arrived home. It's 9:00 p.m. now. Taehyung will get angry at her again.

She unlocked the door and entered the apartment.

"I'm home."

Taehyung who is watching the TV look at her for a few second before ran to his bedroom and shut the door.

"Taehyung, open the door dear." Baekhyun knocked the door for several times.

"No eomma. You promised me to pick me up at school but you did it again mom."

"Listen to me dear. Open up." Baekhyun tried to knock it again. She heard someone sobbing in the room. Taehyung's crying?

"Taehyung..please...open the door for me."

Few seconds later, Taehyung opened the door. Tears can be seen in his eyes.

Baekhyun entered the room and hugged him.

"Don't cry.. I'm so sorry but I have a sudden meeting with Ju- uh our client. So sorry dear.." said Baekhyun while hugging her son.

"Eomma. I know that you're too busy. But my heart hurts when I saw my friend went home with their mom or dad happily. I want to at least did the same too." Taehyung sobbed.

"I really am sorry dear. I promise it will never happen again." She kissed the top of Taehyung's head. Baekhyun look at her son. She raise him alone for 10 years. She feel guilty because she never spend much time with Taehyung.

Taehyung wiped his tears away.

"Eomma..." Taehyung's voice snapped Baekhyun from her daze.

"Yes?"

"Can I ask you a favour?"

"Sure. What is it?" Baekhyun smiled.

"Uhm.... my birthday is just around the corner so... can you invite appa to my birthday party?"
