Chapter 8 dark ones shadow

"Crash landing"

Ow!!!!! Shit, that hurt!!! Literally every stupid time, I turn my head for one minute, the next I'm falling into an entrance to a portal.

"Great, one more cut and bruise to add to my body. "

As I motion upwards I appear to be in a different kind of portal this time. All the other ones that i was in were blues and grey's like normal , but this one was the complete opposite. Imagine a huge rainbow has exploded everywhere. On the floor, the walls, everywhere you look there's shimmering fluorescent colors staring back at you. I realize my mind can't take so much color at once, and so I'm left with a pounding headache, and a dizziness.

Mellie: (" what the hell happened in here"!!) what kind of portal is this??. It looks like a 2 year old physco child went crazy with the finger paint!!!!. "Ya I know , oh and thanks for contributing to my headache." ("Any thing I can do to help!"). Ya right...I mumbled sarcastically. " Any way I think we should get some sleep, because tomorrow we'll be arriving on planet Azura. " Ya I guess your right", but only if you promise to sleep at the far end of the portal, no where near me. ("I have no problem with that Elena.") ("night ")

I plant myself in the corner, and fall to the floor. "Actually there's no floor or walls, it's basically rainbow colored air, that you can walk on or float on.

I lay on my side floating approxametly 1 inch of the floor, and I skim through my old photo album trying to jog my memory. There's pictures of old friends, family, my dog shinuk liking my face, and a picture of me and my mom. I focuse very closely taking in every detail.

Next thing you know I'm fast asleep after 10 minutes.

Mellie takes pleasure in waking me up to indicate that the portal will open soon. (" we don't have much time before were released, so gather your things and go towards the entrance. ("I'll be waiting for you there. ")"Okay , just give me some time to wake up." ("Whatever happens just don't miss the entrance to the portal") " I know"....

It takes me around 10 minutes to actually get up, and then on top of that I have to pack my stuff. So in all I was ready 25 minutes later. I have my sweats and my skull tee on, with my rider boots. I float towards the entrance where the portal has already stated to open. I keep the same pace, while dragging my bag with one hand.

I've reached the end, and the portal has already opened. (" what the hell I told you to get here earlier!!!!") " well what can I say, when your dead you have all the time in the world." Mellie stares at me with rage then turns back to focused on the portal. " alright so we have maybe 5 more minutes until it closes, so maybe we should enter it now!!!!"Geez someone's cranky today."

(She snarls at me) " (just get in !!!") Wait.!!!! ("What?") "That feeling its back.. ("What feeling?) "the one in the pit of my stomach. It's growing deeper.!! ("OMG just get in"!!!!)

With that she pushes me in without looking back, and leaving me tumbling into the darkness, alone......
