Zoe's POV

Abby went ahead to get started on the solos first. She wanted to work on me after everything else including the group dances, duets and solos. First she started with Maddie's solo while, Gianna was gonna work on Jojo's. I wanted to work on my techniques so I went into a vacant studio and started working on my turns and leaps. I had about thirty minutes before I had to work on my duet with Kalani. I grabbed my camera and tripod from my duffel bag and set it up. I made up a quick two minute routine. Then I took my phone, chose a song and, hooked it up to the radio.

"Hi guys it's me Zoe, and today i'm going to be showing you a solo I made up called Friend Like Me."

I danced and did all the acro moves I knew. When I was done, I had twenty minutes left so I figured I had enough time to edit and post. Once I was done editing, I had five minutes left so I went to go get water. I walked in the studio and Kalani gave me the stink eye. Great, first day and I already have a competition. Our duet was called Queens. I'm guessing our costumes are gonna be like royal or something. It's a pretty fun routine to do. After about an hour it was time for the group dance. It's called Living With The Ribbon. Kenzie got the feature roll. I was so excited for her, I think she'll be great. We started the routine and I already loved it.

All of the girls had to go home but of course, I had to stay. Abby started to work on my solo called, Love Letters. It's about pouring all my heart and soul into a letter to give to a boy I like but, I start debating whether or not to give it to him. I had a prop which was just an envelope and a piece of paper. My costume was going to be a simple pink dress with a ribbon in my hair.

Kalani's POV

I don't find it fair that Abby favors Maddie and Zoe. It's so unfair! I work the hardest. I can be just as good as them. I can be in music videos. I'll show Abby.

Nia's POV
-
I like Zoe. She's really nice and sweet. I hope we can do a duet together someday.

Maddie's POV

When we got home from dance, I got a call from Sia.

"Hey Mads I want to know if you would like to be in another music video but, with one of your dance friends? If that's a yes, I need you to choose either Nia or Kendall."

"Oh I definitely choose Nia."

"Oh great choice I think she's the second strongest dancer on the team!"

"Okay thanks Sia I'll call her but when's the shoot?"

"Next week."

"Umm okay that'll work."

"Alright love, byee."

Oh but it won't work. We have another competition next week. I'll have to talk to my mom and Abby.

Kendall's POV

I mean I like Zoe but she's not all that.

Kenzie's POV

I can't wait for my feature roll!

Jojo's POV

Zoe's not as good as me, but she's cool and pretty.

Abby's POV

I have decided to go ahead and order Zoe's team jacket. Hopefully she wins first place so I can give it to her when we go back to the green room after the awards.
Of course I had to call the people who made my jackets. I made sure that they spell Zoe's name right and head back to her to work on her solo. I wanted it to be perfect for her first competition. We worked until it was 9:30. The solo was absolutely perfect. I took Gianna home and when I got home, the package for Zoe's costume was finally here. I ordered the dress ribbon and envelope. I know, I know.

"Abby! You could've just gotten an envelope from the dollar store!"

No, no, no. I wanted the envelope to be stiff so that while Zoe was dancing, it wouldn't start to bend. I had the dress hand made because nothing's too good for one of my dancers!
Well tomorrow is comp so I better get some rest and so should Zoe!

"Zoe hun you need to go to bed! We have a competition in the morning!"

"Okay mom I'm going to bed now!"

Zoe's POV

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping, wow I love it here. It is currently 3 am so I woke up at the right time. I go to make sure Abby is awake and of course, she isn't. I go shake her awake and after like two minutes of shaking and laughing, she finally wakes up.

"Mom it's comp time!"

I run so excited all the way up the stairs. I don't have any ALDC sweats so I just put on red sweatpants and a black jacket. I don't put on any make-up nor do my hair because, we're gonna be on the bus for three hours and I am NOT going to mess up my hair JUST because of the bus! I just leave my hair down in it's natural brown waves. I only put on chapstick because, [watch my ghetto attempt] Ain't nobody got TIME for dem crusty, musty, dusty lips! I put on my creme color Uggs and grab my duffel bag with my costume in it and head downstairs to eat.

"Oh hun you're gonna need more than what's in that bag"

What? She like, old lady ran downstairs to the 'room' and came back up with a pink suitcase? When she opened the so called 'suitcase' it opened up and had little compartments FILLED with make-up. There were extra stuff at the bottom that I couldn't see.

"SO COOL!"

She started laughing and eventually we both start laughing. Okay well.... Now that that's over, I'm hungry! Abby already made me plain pancakes with fruit on top of them and some peaches on the side. I'm guessing she wants me to eat healthy. Once I am done eating, I grab my duffel bag and my make-up suitcase. We walk out the door and drive to the studio. Once we get there, I see Maddie, Kenzie and Jojo.

Eventually, everyone gets here and we have another like hour before we have to leave. We get our costumes for the group dance, my duet and other things like Jojo and Maddie's solo. Jojo's solo is called Fancy and she has a really cool 2-piece costume. Maddie's solo is called Golden Girl. Her costume is all gold and I am really excited to see it. We get our group costumes and they are light pink dress shirts with white booty shorts. Abby asked Jill,

"Do you have the ribbon for the group dance?"

"Ummmm no?"

"What do you mean no I asked you to do this 3 days ago!"

"WELL I DIDN'T OKAY?!"

Then Kendall came up and yelled at Abby. Psht GURL you just got into something you can't get out of. I wasn't really listening to Kendall because I was paying attention to Abby's extremely red face.

"Okay Kendall have it your way... No solo for 3 weeks! Also, forget that duet with Maddie!"

I looked at Maddie and she didn't seem to have a care in the world. Wow.......

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!
