Betrayal, Surprise, and Battle

Zoe's POV

"So what's our game plan?" I ask the group. We are standing here, in front of this evil womans 'lair' in all black, getting ready to fight her.

"Surround her from all sides of the building and attack on three. We need to go in pairs so we can take this bitch down." Cam said.

"Okay sounds like a plan. Guys, if anything goes down in there, I love you guys. You guys are my family and always will be." I said.

We all did a group hug. Nash and I paired up behind the building.

"Hey. I love you okay?" Nash asked.

"I love you too." I said.

We kissed and I saw Lox signal for us to go in. We all got in the room and she looked up. What? Oh my god. How could she?

"Well, well, well. If it isn't my little adopted daughter." Abby said.

"How could you?" I asked on the verge of tears.

"It was my plan the whole time. I tracked you down, adopted you, and made sure you trusted me. Now after all these years, can you kill the lady that saved you?" She asked.

"I-uh-I." I stuttered.

"Didn't think so." She said.

Abby was getting ready to hit me but Nash hit her with his powers. We advanced on Abby and used all our strength on her.

We've been in battle for twenty minutes and all of us are starting to lose energy. I looked away and see everyone, but I couldn't see Nash. I looked over and saw her strangling him to death. A sudden adrenaline went through me as I realised my loved ones were getting hurt, for me.

"Don't touch him." I screamed at her.

"Why shouldn't I?" Abby asked.

"Because I can do this,"

I was levitating all of a sudden. My hair was getting static. Everyone was looking terrified at me. I hit Abby with, a power I don't even know what it was. But it was enough to send her flying. She let go of Nash and I ran up to him.

"Nash!" I screamed as I saw him unconscious.

I started to tear up as his breathing was faint.

"Please Nash. I need you to wake up. Ever since we started dating there was this new light in my life. You were the light. I was in a state where I thought I would never be loved but you changed that. Please I need you, I love you." I said breaking down.

I looked away from Nash to see Abby laying on the ground. Her chest wasn't rising so I assumed we'd killed her. It's all over, but what happens now? We have no more worries. Everyone broke me out of my thoughts.

"What are we supposed to do with her? We can't just leave ger here" Lox asked.

"We have to have a funeral." I said bluntly.

"Why?" Cam asked.

"Everyone is going to wonder what happened to her. We'll just have to say she passed away." I said, looking at Nash.

"So we'll call an ambulance and say she was hit by a car?" Cam asked.

"Sure that'll work, and we'll say we brought her in here but she didn't make it." I said.

"Guys wouldn't this be considered murder?" Carter asked.

"To regular people? Yes, but in our world, no." Cameron said.

"Ok I'll call the ambulance. I'm a good actress. Zoe, you need to start crying." Lox said.

"Ok." I looked at Nash and my tears just came out.

Mahogany made the call and the guys took Nash out the building so it was only Lox, Abby, and I in there. The ambulance arrived and I told them what happened.

"I was walking with my friend a-and I saw my mom laying on the ground. I didn't know how long she'd been there but I assumed she'd been hit. When I got here, it was too late." I said 'sobbing' into Mahogany's shirt.

"I'm sorry for your loss ma'am." The medic said.

The ambulance left and we all drove home. Nash was still unconscious when we got home.

"Nash please wake up." I said to him.

"I'm hungryyyyy." Nash groaned.

"Nash!" I yelled as he scared me. I ran up to him and kissed him.

"What happened?" Nash asked.

"We killed her." I smiled at him.

"We're also gonna have a funeral so people don't get suspicious." I said, still hugging him.

"Okay. Will you be my date?" He asked smiling.

"Of course." I said.
