Chapter 17

2 Months Later
Chrissy's POV

It'd been two months since I have been on YMCMB and I'm just not happy like I once was. I'm putting on a fake smile when people are around me but every night once Lola is sleep I'm a drinking and smoking to numb my pain.

Tonight I have a concert and I have made a big decision that I haven't told anyone. I'm moving to Barbados to get away from this life of fame, paparazzi, and drama. I haven't told my family and I don't plan on it.

Right now I'm backstage getting ready for the show.

"We need Rihanna to the stage now. Show goes on I'm 1 minute."

Me and my manager ran to the stage and prepared for me to start my show.

"In 3...2...1.. your on" I walked out onto stage causing the fans to go crazy

1 Hour Later

"I have a special song that I would like for you guys to hear. This song is very close to me and my heart."

(She Sig the Song in media)

" Before this show ends I want all of my fans and love ones to know that I love them all and you all have a very close place in my heart. And if it wasn't for you I would still be in the hood of Philadelphia or worse. But what I didn't know when I came into this business there came drama and problems that I didn't prepare myself for. So I want y'all to be the first to know that I am taking a break from music for a while to recollect myself so I can be a better person for you, for myself, my family, and my daughter. Don't get it twisted though on this break I will still be writing music so as soon as I return you will be hearing new things for Rihanna." I said looking out in the crowd with tears running down my face as I saw how sad my fans looked upset.

"Thank you this isn't goodbye, ...it's just a see you later." I said walking off stage as the fans applauded.

When I walked off stage my manager was already standing there.

"Is everything being sent to the Barbados house?"

"Yes and Lola and the Gabby are already in the car outside that is waiting to take you straight to a private jet."

"Thanks so much for doing this for me"

"Its no problem. Are you sure you want to do this?

"100%" I said walking to the car that Lola and Gabby were in.

"Ok I support you" she gave me a hug.

"Thanks and font forget to get me out of YMCMB please."

"Oh I got that covered."

"See you soon" I said getting in the car telling the driver to drive off.

2 Months Later
Jamal's P.O.V

It's been 2 months since we've heard that Chrissy was taken a break from music. The whole family went to her house but no one was there. She changed her number so we can't call her. She hasn't been on any social media or the eyes of the public and she took Lola out of school, so we really don't know where she is ,but it has taken a toll on the whole family.

Rakim hasn't written any music, Hakeem is on this anger streak, Dad has been off his game, mom hasn't been to Empire since Chrissy left, and Andre hasn't been taking his pills so his bipolar disorder is getting the best of him.

"New story just in. Is Rihanna getting cozy in Barbados?" TMZ reporter said causing the family's attention to the t.v.

" 2 Months ago Rihanna gave a very emotional 'see ya later 'show that left the world on edge. A month later YMCMB contract with Rihanna was dropped, and no one knew where she was or doing until last night Rihanna posted several pics at the beach enjoying the water. What everyone really wants to know is Rihanna when are you coming back from vacation? Next Story is....-" I turned the t.v off.

"Becky get me the private jet, im going to Barbados." I said.
