Please dont land on me, please dont land on me
Calixta repeated over and over as the bottle spun around in the middle of the group, but no such luck.
"Calixta! Truth or dare?" Jessica squealed, clearly excited to be playing in the presence of Colton since her eyes never left him.
"Um, dare?"
"Ouu Cal got a wild side?" Jonathan winked at her from across the circle. She smirked, but bowed her head slightly lower, good thing it was dark out so they couldnt see the blush creeping at her cheeks.
"Hmm I dare you to-"
"Jump into the pool with nothing but your underwear on!" Aiden butted in and high fived Jonathan, who thought that should be her challenge as well.
"Calm down boys, little Cal here wouldnt do that." Jessica waved it off. Calixta's heart was beating fast; a surge of adrenaline coursed through her as she had a sudden flash of confidence to prove Jessica wrong.
"No, I'll do it."
Everyone looked at her with eyes bulging out of their sockets; even Colton gave her a sideways glance, daring her to attempt it. With every ounce of confidence left in her, Calixta began taking off her sandals.
"Wait-wait Cal you really don't have to do this." Jessica gave a nervous laugh, annoyed that the attention was off of her. The group stared in awe as she stripped off her dress to reveal her neverending slender legs, her curvy hips, small waist, and perky breasts. They would've never known from her modest attire, that under all that would be a model. She cannonballed into the pool and came up smiling.
"Care to join? The water's great!" She swam around the pool, doing backstrokes and diving underwater, and pretty soon all of the guys jumped in leaving Jessica storming back inside. Other people from the party realized the pool frenzy, and pretty soon they were all being thrown in or stripping down to join.
Calixta was just getting out of the water when she noticed someone that didnt join in on the fun. Colton was sitting on a bench away from all the action. She grabbed her belongings from where she left them, put them on and walked towards him.
He's on the phone, I shouldn't interrupt. Oh he hung up! Agh he looks mad maybe I shouldn't... Shit he's turning around, quick think-
"So not only do you crash my party, but you decide to jump into my pool and make everyone else jump in after you." Colton said impressed. At first she thought he was seriously angry at her, but she noticed the smirk on his face and felt relieved.
"Wait, this is your house? Gosh I'm sorry I didn't mean-"
"I'm kidding it's good, everyones having fun and it's not like I have to clean this all up."
Oh, right. That explained the big house that looked like it'd be on a magazine.
"Everyones having fun? Why are you out here alone then, didn't wanna mess up your expensive clothes?" She said half-jokingly.
"Yeah that's my main reason", he said sarcastically, "But seriously I didn't wanna be in all of that chaos, I'd rather chill here alone."
His answer not only surprised her, but himself. He didn't know why he confided in her, but he felt as if he could tell her everything. And she wondered too why he would even be talking to her, not only that but why a pretty boy like him wouldnt want all of the attention or the rowdyness, didn't they all want that?
"Calixta! We're about to leave!" Jay shouted. standing in front of sliding glass doors to the house.
"Okay I'll be right there!" She turned to Colton, who was staring intently at her face, but when she turned he quickly found interest in fiddling with the cover to his phone. "Well, thanks for having me I guess."
"Anytime lucky girl, you see I knew I'd have you in your panties soon, I'm irresistable." He smirked.
She scoffed, "You're the one who got lucky this time, but you're gonna need more than luck to get that to happen."
As she walked off to her friends Colton looked at her, trying to figure her out. Who was this girl? Just last year she had been quiet and insignificant, but now she had caused quite a stir with her bold moves and yet, she hadn't changed like the worst of them. She still dressed the same, hung out with the same people, he didn't know her that well, but from what he saw she seemed genuine.
"Hey Colton over here! We got the last of the vodka and we're gonna see if Kevin can take anymore"
"Yeah, in a minute." He nodded. He needed to get his mind off this girl, was he going soft? He didn't even know her and yet he couldn't stop thinking about how he hadn't noticed her before. Her little stunt tonight definitely didn't help, and as he thought about the way she confidently jumped in the water in nothing but her bra and panties he groaned.
Yup, I definitely need a distraction.
"Heeeeey Colton grrreaat partyyy", some blonde girl in nothing but a tight red dress that looked more like a shirt slurred in his ear and clung on to his shoulder giggling. Casey was it? Or Cathy? It didn't matter, she would do.
