Chapter 8 *Askings Sky's Mum*

Harry's POV

I told Sky I was going to see my family for the weekend, but I was really going to see her mother. I was really woried about asking Sky mum Lily I if could marry her daughter. What If she says no? I love her too much, I'm not gonna think about if she say's no.

I was stood at the door about to knock, when it opened and a lady stood there. Must of been Lily.

"Hi, you must be Harry, I've heard a lot about you, come on in." Lily said while pulling me into her house.

"I've come to ask you a question Lily." I say once I have sat down.

"Go ahead."

"Well, I know I haven't been dating your daughter for long, but I have known her for a while, and well, I've fallen in love with her. You might see me as a player because of what you have seen in the media, but I'm not. I can see a future with me and Skylar. I have never felt like this about anyone until I met Sky. Lily, I love her so much and would never hurt her. Well, I was wondering if it would be okay to ask her to marry me?" I didn't want to look up at her in case she said no.

"Look Harry, I can tell you love her and would never hurt her, but don't you think your a bit young?"

"I understand what you mean, but age is just a number. It was normal for people to get married at this age 50 years ago. I love her so much and really want to marry her, Lily please."

"If she says no and doesn't want to, don't try and persuade her into it okay? Other than that, you have my permission. You obviously make my daughter happy, and if she's happy, so am I."

I couldn't believe she said she was okay with this! I need to go and buy a ring, like now!

"Thank you so much!" I get up and give her a hug.

"My pleasure, have you got the ring yet?"

"That's what I was about to ask you. Would you like to come help me buy the perfect ring?"

"I would love to Harry, let's go."

We looked for hours until we found the perfect ring for Skylar. It was a White Gold Engagement Ring, simple but effective. I think she will love it.

I said thanks to Lily, then went back home. I had a lot of planning to do. I also rang the guys to tell them the news. Apparently Niall punched a wall. I think I need to talk to him.
