I was just moving into my new flat, which I will be sharing with my best friend Adellouise Hurst. She won't be moving in for a few months as she has to finish college. It had 5 bedrooms, all with their own on suite bathrooms, a games room, a cinema and my personal studio.
How can I afford this right?
*FLASHBACK*
Zayn walked back into my hospital room with a weird look on his face.
"Zayn, what's up?" I asked him.
He came and sat on my bed."
"I have a confession to make to you all. I didn't go to the dentist, I went for a meeting with Simon, about Skylar and her singing."
We all just stared at him in shock.
"What about my singing?" I managed to speak up.
"Well your voice is AMAZING. Long story short , I showed him a recording of you singing, and he want's to set up a meeting and maybe talk about a record deal!"
How did he get a recording of me singing? What song and when? But I might be getting a record deal! How amazing is that!
"I didn't know you could sing Sky. Zayn could you please show us so we could hear it?" Harry asked while Zayn was getting his phone out.
Once they had finished listening to it, they all had a tear in their eye. I didn't know I had that effect on people.
"How did you keep a voice like that this hidden? And why?" Harry asked turning to face me.
"Zayn, I didn't even know you recorded me, and I told you why I didn't want you guys to find out. I get really bad stage fright." I told Zayn.
"Well Simon is waiting for a phone call off me too set a date for a meeting with you. Do you want to? They can help you with your stage fright."
This could be my big break! I won't be know for being Liam Payne's cousin, but for my voice. This is what I want.
"Okay, let's give him a call then!" I basically shouted.
All the boys gave me a hug. Even Niall tried but pushed him away from me. Just because something good is happening, doesn't mean i wat him near me.
Zayn ran off to take the call and within a few minutes he was back.
"Your meeting is tomorrow at 3, we will all be there for you, so there is no need to worry." Zayn told me.
*At The Meeting*
We all walked into Simon's office, Liam and Harry holding my hands.
"There's no need to worry babe, It's all going to be fine." Harry said as we went to sit down.
Harry Styles just called me babe! No Skylar, stop thinking about that!
"So Skylar, let's talk record deals. Would you be interested?" Simon asked me.
I just nodded not trusting my voice but Liam squeezes my hand, probably wanting me to talk.
"Yes, I would be interested Simon." I only just managed to say.
"Okay, would you like to keep the name Skylar Hulme or change it?" he asked me.
"Could I please keep my name, but just be known as Skylar?"
"Yeah that sounds great. Now if you would like to sign this contract we can everything sorted."
Once I had signed everything, we left and went for a celebrating meal.
*End of flashback*
So I guess that's were it all started.
