Atleast another half an hour passed and nobody even offered to help me. I bet if I was Justin, people would be lining up to help me. Stupid Justin.  The boy needs to grow a since of humor. I sighed and layed back, feeling the metal cut into my foot more with every move I would make.

After another few minutes, I felt footsteps from behind me. I attempted to turn around and see who it was but, failed miserably. Then I saw a figure standing over me. I looked up, seeing Justin's familar features.

"What did you do?" he asked, chuckling slightly and kneeling down next to me.  "Just get me out  of here." I sighed, motioning over to my foot.  He nodded and turned my foot slightly, pulling it out of the drain.

That's all I had to do? Damn. "Thanks." I sighed, trying my best to stand up. I managed to lift my legs enough to walk myself back over to the building and keep myself up.

I looked down at my foot, seeing a ring of dried blood around my ankle. After slipping my other heel off, I looked over at Justin. "Teegan, I'm really sorry." he sighed, walking over to me.

"It's my fault. I should be apologizing."    "No. You weren't the one that ran home like a little kid." he chuckled.  "I couldn't have if I wanted to." I pointed out. He shook his head and walked over to me, "Let me take you home."

"No. I can manage. I don't want people to get the wrong message." I sighed.  "Message? What message?" he asked.  "You were right. This 'Just Friends' thing isn't going to work out." I started, seeing him smile slightly,

"But neither is the 'Boyfriend/Girlfriend' thing." I continued, seeing his face fall.  "What are you saying?" he frowned.  "I'm saying that it's best if we just forget about each other all togher."

He looked down at the ground, chewing his bottom lip. "So, we can't even be friends?" he asked quietly.  "We love each other to much to be just friends but, we argue to much to be a couple. So, I think it's best for both of us if we just move on." I sighed, looking up at him.

''Oh. Okay then." he frowned.  "Bye, Justin." I said, wrapping my arms around him in a tight hug. He took in a breath and wrapped his arms around me. "Bye, Tee." he whispered into my hair.

I pulled away from him and gave him a 3-fingered wave before walking..well, limping down the sidewalk. He followed behind me but, kept his distance by about 20 feet.

As I walked into the front door of my house, I saw mom on the couch with a worried look on her face. "Where were you?" she frowned, looking up at me.  "Sorry, I got stuck at the restuarant." I sighed, holding back a laugh at how literal that sounded.

She nodded slowly and I ran up the stairs as fast as I could without yelling out in pain. I walked into the bathroom, turning the water to the bathtub on and slipping out of my dress.

I slowly slid into the tub, the hot water burning the cut around my ankle but, I ignored it and layed back. Let's see how hard this 'Try to Forget Justin Thing' works out.

I sighed and walked into the house, throwing all of my stuff into my suitcases. "Justin?" Granddad asked, standing in my doorway. "Yeah?" I sighed, not looking up from what I was doing.

"What do you think your doing?" he asked, walking into my room and sitting down on my bed. "I'm going back home. I don't think I can handle it here much longer.'' I muttered, taking a break from packing and sitting down next to him.

"Well, if your grandmother and I are that back of grandparent's..."   "No. That's not it." I chuckled, "It's just something personal I have to deal with."   He raised an eyebrow but, nodded slowly.  "Ah, girl trouble." he smirked.

I rolled my eyes. Leave it to Granddad to figure something like this out. "Yeah but, I don't need a long speech on how to fix things or talk to her. I just need to go back home to Georgia.'' I sighed.

He chuckled slightly and layed a hand on my shoulder,  "I was going to go off into a speech but, if that's what you think is best then go for it." he smiled reassuringly.

"Thanks, Granddad." I smiled, hugging him tightly. "Anytime.'' he smiled, walking back out of the room, "Oh, and Justin?"          "Yeah?"  I asked, returning to my suitcases.

"Just remember that if you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it's yours. If it doesn't, it was never meant to be." he smiled, walking back down the hallway.  Just let it go...

Let Teegan go and pray to God that she somehow finds her way back to me. I took in a breath and nodded to myself.

That's what I have to do.
