~Chapter 15~

Anna’s POV

I woke up with something licking my face, I ignored it and flipped to my side on my bed. Then that thing was still licking my face and out of nowhere I felt 2 licks from 2 different tongues. I jerked up in my bed to see 2 dogs in my bed wagging their tails. I raised an eyebrow and pet the dog, I smiled and then I got out of my bed and ran out of my room. I ran into Joshua who was panting loudly, I looked at him and he stared at me trying to calm down.

“Did you see 2 dogs?” Joshua asked

“Yes, they are in my bed” I said laughing and pointed to my room.

“Sorry, I was messing around with them, and they ran away from me” Joshua said

“Who are they for?” I asked

“They are ours” Joshua said

“Ours, do you mean like family dogs and we keep it?” I said

“Yeah” Joshua said

“Well, Mom and Dad said that since your birthday is coming up and you get to name one of them” Joshua said

“Really?” I said

“Yep, so get ready and be down in an hour” Joshua said and he whistled and the dogs came out of my room and sat by Joshua’s legs.

“Okay” I said walking to my room.

I ran to my bathroom and took a quick shower, I got out and dried myself. I ran to my closet and threw on a tank top and a long loose tank top over, white skinny jeans, and black and white converse. I threw my hair in a wet pony tail and dried it, I put a light touch of makeup and walked out of my room.

I jogged down the stairs and into the kitchen, I saw my parents smiling at me.

“Morning Honey” My mom said hugging me.

“Morning” I said

“So, Josh told me that the dogs woke you up?” My dad asked

“Yeah, they both licked my face” I said smiling and grabbing a water bottle.

“Well, did Josh tell you that you get to name one” My Mom said

“Yeah” I said smiling

“Well, which one do you want to name?” My Dad asked

“Can you call them?” I asked. My dad whistled and both dogs came running into the kitchen with their tongues sticking out.

“What kind of dogs are they?” I asked

“This one is a Border Collie” My Dad said pointing to a long haired black and white dog.

“And this is a Labrador” He said pointing to the tan dog.

“Oh, I like that Labrador” I said

“Okay, you can name the Labrador then” My dad said

“Oh, I want to name it Mufasa, from Lion King” I said smiling big time.

“Why Mufasa?“ Joshua asked

“Because I love Lion King” I said petting the Labrador.

“Wow, you are in love with that movie, huh?” Anthony said coming into the kitchen.
