~Chapter 18~
Anthony’s POV
I graduate soon, with Jessie, I applied to John Hopkins University in Maryland. That was the main college I wanted to go to be a surgeon. Jessie got full scholarship to Ohio State University, when she got her mail from the school, she literally screamed and ran around the house. Today I get my letter from John Hopkins, I hope I get accepted.
“Anthony, honey, mail is here” I heard my mom say, I jumped off the couch and ran to the kitchen where all the mail was, I was looking through the pile like a maniac. Then I found it, I held it up and prayed that I got accepted, I started to open it and read it.
“Well, what does it say?” My dad asked
“I GOT ACCEPTED” I yelled in triumph, I was doing my happy dance, which caused my parents to laugh.
“Oh my goodness, I am so proud of you” My mom said hugging me.
“I am too” My dad said patting me on my back.
“Go wake Anna up and tell her” My mom said going to the stove, Anna was still sleeping because of the party yesterday was a whole lot of fun. I ran to her room and slid in front of her door, I opened her door slowly and crept in her room, I tip toed to her bed.
“Anna” I said shaking her awake, and caused her to snore a bit louder.
“Anna” I said again
“Go away” Anna mumbled and turning to her side
“Anna” I said more firm and shook her harder.
“What?” Anna mumbled and opened her eyes.
“Finally you’re awake” I said as she sat up rubbing her eyes.
“What’s wrong” Anna said yawning
“I got accepted to John Hopkins University” I said jumping up and down like a 5 year old.
“Congratulations” Anna said getting out of her bed hugging me
“Thank you” I said hugging her back
“Okay, I need to shower so go wake Josh up or something” Anna said shooing me out of her room.
“Okay baby sister” I said jogging to Josh’s room, I opened his door to see him sleeping with his mouth open and spread all over his bed, I chuckled to myself and crept to his bed.
“Wake up dude” I said slapping his cheek lightly
“Huh? What?” Josh said as he shot up in his bed like a bullet.
“Guess what” I said smiling
“What?” Josh said rubbing his head
“I got accepted to John Hopkins University” I said with a goofy grin
“Dude, that’s awesome” Josh said patting my back
“I know, I start this fall” I said smiling
“Man, school goes by fast, you graduate soon too” Josh said
“Yeah” I said
“Where’s Jessie and Alexa” Josh asked
