Twisted (COMPLETE)

Part One

     "Stealing candy, Mal? I'm so disappointed," Maleficent sneered as she approached the group in the street behind my mother's Fish&Chip shop.

     "But it was from a baby," Mal said with a triumphant smile.

     "That's my nasty little girl!" Maleficent took the lollipop, spat on it, and stuck it under her arm.

     "Give it back to the dreadful creature," she said, handing it to one of the knuckleheads.

     "Mom!" Mal exclaimed.

     "It's the deets, Mal. They're the difference between bad and truly evil." Maleficent waved to the mother pulling the toddler in the small wagon. "Walk with me," she added. "I'm just trying to teach you what's really important: how to be me." Maleficent looked on fondly.

     "I know that. I'll try harder," Mal replied.

     "Oh, there's news! You five have been chosen to go to a different school, in Auradon!" Mal's mom laughed. I stood in the shadows, staring at the group. Wait...five?

     "Five?" Carlos said. "There are only four of us." Maleficent stretched her arm out in my direction and motioned me forward. I walked out into the sun. Mal rolled her eyes, Evie gave me a smile and a small wave, Carlos was still processing the Auradon thing, and Jay just smirked.

     "What?!" Mal shouted. "I'm not going to a school filled to the brim with prissy pink princesses!"

     "And perfect princes!" Evie gushed.

     "Uh, I don't do uniforms. Unless it's leather, you feel me?" Jay laughed and punched Carlos's arm.

     "I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon. Mom says they're wild pack animals who eat boys who...don't behave," Carlos said with fear in his eyes. His mom really screwed him up.

     "Woof!" Jay said behind him. I stifled a laugh as he jumped.

     "Yeah, mom, we're not going."

     "Oh, you think small, pumpkin! It's all about world domination!" Maleficent laughed evilly. "Knuckleheads! Mal!" she sang.
