"You don't see it?" Michaela laughs, stuffing a piece of popcorn into her mouth. Neither of them is paying attention to the movie. "He's totally into you."
"Frank Delfino?" Laurel scoffs. "Yeah, right!"
"I'm not kidding!" Michaela argues, turning to look at her. "Everyone else can tell. Why can't you?"
Laurel presses her lips together. Maybe she has noticed some signs he may like her, but she just never thought it could actually be true.
"Are we going to pay attention to the movie or not? I paid a whole dollar on RedBox for this!" Laurel changes the subject.
--
"I can't believe your idea of fun was taking me to get cheap tacos and then go to your apartment."
Frank grins.
"You've been having fun, I can tell," he smirks.
She blushes.
"Okay, maybe I have..." she begins, and her eyes look up to lock with his.
They're standing in the doorway of his apartment. He's leaning against the door. He hasn't even opened it yet.
"So, tell me, are you really going to marry that desperate loser?" Frank asks, furrowing his eyebrows. "Just because Mommy and Daddy said so?"
"I have to," Laurel sighs. "They'll cut me off if I don't do this. They'll stop paying for me to go to law school. I can't let that happen."
"You'll sell yourself to some dude who doesn't even love you?" he asks.
She shrugs her shoulders.
"I wish I didn't have to, Frank. I don't really have a reason not to. I mean, aside from the fact that I'm not actually in love with the guy. My parents want me to, it'll keep me with their money, and it's not like I have anyone else romantic in my life," she says.
He presses his lips together.
"Oh, really?" he asks.
"Uh-huh," she smirks at him.
"I think you and I both know I can give you a damn good reason not to marry that dude," he tells her.
"I don't know anything," she challenges. "Why don't you finally man up and be honest with me?"
"I'm a show not tell kind of guy," he says.
"Alright. Then show me."
He steps forward and kisses her. His hands roughly fly to her waist as their kiss intensifies. Then, he lets his hands move upwards to the zipper of her white dress, and starts dragging it down.
"Frank," she mumbles. "We're not even inside yet."
He laughs and unlocks the door with one hand, but keeps his lips pressed against hers. They move backwards into the apartment, and she kicks the door shut.
She moans loudly into his lips. God, he's waited so long to hear her moan. Normally, he sleeps with the girl quickly upon meeting her, but it's taken forever with her. All the intensity that's built up finally releases.
She's left in her lingerie once she kicks her dress off. He pushes her down on his bed, kissing down her stomach and legs. He reaches her high heels, and pulls them both off. Laurel grabs him by the collar of his shirt and pulls him closer so he's on top of her. Quickly, she pops each button out of his shirt. They both pull back for a moment and smile devilishly at each other before kissing again. She pushes his shirt off his shoulders and runs her hand down his toned chest- every perfect muscle. Then, her hand reaches his pants. She teasingly takes his belt off as slowly as possible, making him long for her even more.
"Make me scream," she says in a quiet voice.
And he fulfills her command that night.

"Victor, where is Laurel?" Elena Castillo demands, folding her arms. "Poor Kan has been standing all by himself! He's never going to marry her if he doesn't spend time with her."
"Relax, mi amor," Victor says, putting his arm around his wife. "She was not happy about coming to this party, we both know that. But she's going to have to marry him. She knows what's at stake."
Elena sighs. Just then, Kan walks up to them.
"Kan! What a pleasure to see you again," Elena smiles.
"Hello again, Mrs. Castillo," Kan greets with a smile back. "I've been wondering where Laurel is. Any idea? My family wants to speak with her more. We want to start making arrangements."
Elena's eyes widen.
"Arrangements! Wonderful!" she exclaims. "I... I cannot find her. Victor, please. Where is she?"
"Elena, I already told you I don't know where she is," Victor says, raising his eyebrows. "We are extremely sorry to you and your family, Kan. Laurel is never like this. She's a good woman, and is always on time and I'm sure there's an explanation."
"Mr. Castillo, are you sure she's interested in marrying me?" Kan asks. "I don't want to be the suitor to a woman that isn't even interests in marrying me."
"She is, she is!" Victor assures him. "Laurel has not been with many men in her life. She's innocent. I'll bet she's just nervous about meeting you."
"Glad to hear that. But if she's gone, I should probably head home," Kan informs them. "I'm sorry."
"Leaving already?" Elena asks, her eyes going wide. "Please, don't let her ruin the mood of tonight-"
"I've got a feeling she's not interested in marrying me. I'll take some time to think about it, but I need some confirmation from her before I decide if I want to be her suitor," Kan explains. "I'm sure my parents will understand my decision, and I hope you two do, too."
That said, Kan leaves. Elena turns to Victor with anger in her eyes.
"Victor!" Elena yells. "Laurel is ruining her chances of getting married to a good man. Where is she? How could she mess this day up? She knows how important it is."
--
Laurel's head is resting on Frank's bare chest. Oh, if her parents figured out what she is doing right now... she's supposed to be working on getting to know Kan Singh- the man she's supposed to be hitting it off with. But instead, she's sleeping with her co-worker, and probably even a man considered her superior at work.
"You're not falling asleep on me, are ya?" Frank asks, his hands creeping up her bare back, sending shivers Don her spine.
"Well, you really wore me out already," she laughs, and throws her other arm across his chest. She turns her head and kisses his neck. He shuts his eyes.
"You relax," he tells her, smirking. "I'll do all the work this time."
She raises her eyebrows, but lets him do whatever he's planning. He rolls over and goes under the blanket, sinking down all the way until he's between her legs.
"Oh," she moans.
Who needs to get married when you've got a guy that can please you like this?
