I Woke Up To The Buzzing Sound Of The Alarm Clock. I Lazily Pull The Covers Back And Get Out Of Bed. I Check My Phone To See If I Had Any Notifications. I Had 3 Text Messages And 2 Missed Calls From Amber, And 4 Missed Calls And A Text Message From Avery.
Amber:
"What You Doing?"
"I Thought You Had To Talk To Me?"
"Ashanti Get Up, Your Late For School"
I Replied To Amber "Not Going To School Today, And We'll Talk About It Later I Promise."
Avery:
"Good Morning Beautiful Let Me Know What Happens Today, I Love You."
I Replied. "I Love You Too And I Will."
I Put My Phone Down And Headed To The Restroom To Brush My Teeth And Do The Rest Of My Hygiene. After I Was Done I Looked For Something To Wear. I Decided To But On Some White Pants, A Pink Tank, With A Sweater, A Scarf And Black Boots. After I Got Done Getting Dressed I Put My Hair Into A Messy Bun And To Top It Off I Put A Headband On. When I Felt I Was Ready I Went Downstairs.
"I'm Ready Ma."
"Your Not Going To Eat Your Breakfast?" She Asked.
"Oh Yeah, I Didn't Know You Cooked.
After I Got Doing Eating My Biscuit Sandwiches. We Were On Our Way To The Doctor.
"You Know Trinity Is Coming Back Home This Weekend"
"She Is?" I Questioned.
"Yeah, She Said She Was Ready To Come Home."
Trinity Is My Little Sister Who Was Away With Her Father. She's Two Years Younger Than Me. She's Been Gone For 2 Years But Visits Us On Holidays. My Mama Sent Her To Go Live With Her Daddy Because She Was A Trouble Maker. But Now She's Changed. I Really Do Miss My Sister But I Don't Want Her To Know About The Pregnant Situation. She Always Looked Up To Me And Now That I'm Pregnant I Don't Know What She's Going To Think.
About 15 Minutes Later We Pulled Up At The Teen Pregnancy Clinic. My Stomach Started To Turn Into Knots As I Approached The Door. We Walked In And Went To The Front Desk.
"Hi, Y'all Accept Walk-ins Right?" My Mama Asked The Lady At The Front Desk.
"Yes Ma'am, Fill These Papers Out" She Smiled While Handing Us A Clipboard With Papers And A Pen Attached To It.
As We Sat Down My Mama Started Filling Out The Papers. I Looked Around And Seen A Lot Of Young Pregnant Girls, There Were Girls Who Were On There First Child, Girls Who Were On There Second And So On. About A Hour Later A Doctor Called My Name.
We Went To The Back And Went In The First Room. The Doctor Checked My Ears My Eyes And Other Things Doctors Normally Check. When The Doctor Was Done She Told Me To Pee In A Cup.
"Okay Ms. Hunt You Are Pregnant. Can You Lay Down And Raise Your Shirt Up Please?"
I Did As She Asked. She Put Some Gel Like Stuff On My Stomach And Did A Ultrasound.
I Could Hear Little Sounds And A Little Round Thing On The Screen. I Couldn't Really Tell If It Was My Baby Or Not. I Didnt Understand The Ultrasound.
"Well Ms. Hunt Your 5 Weeks Pregnant. Your Due Date Is July 23rd" She Smiled.
"What? I Didn't Know I Was That Far Along" I Said In Shock.
My Mama Started Crying, Which Made Me Cry. After We Were Done With The Ultrasound The Doctor Told Me What Was Healthy And What Wasn't Healthy For My Baby. She Told Me What To Expect. She Gave Me Some Prenatal Vitamins, Papers, And Pictures Of The Ultrasound. She Set Me Another Appointment To Come Back And Then We Left.
When We Got Home I Went Upstairs To My Room. I Looked In The Mirror And Rubbed The Not Visible Baby Bump.
"Hi, I'm Your Mommy. I'm Gonna Try To Be The Best Mother I Can Be For You. I Don't Care What You Are, I Will Love You Unconditionally. I'm Going To Give You The World, I Love You" I Say Rubbing My Stomach With Tears Rolling From My Eyes.
I Thought About How My Life Is Really Going To Change. I Have To Give Up Everything That Love, But It'll All Be Worth It For My Baby. I Check The Time And Its 2:30 So I Decided To Take A Nap Until School Is Over At 4 So I Can Call Amber And Avery And Tell Them The News.

"Yeah, How About The Ice Cream Shoppe?" Amber Asked.
"Be There In 5 Minutes, Prepare Yourself For The News I'm About To Give You"
"Oh Trust Me Im Prepared." She Said And Then Hung Up The Phone.
I Walk Into The Ice Cream Shoppe And See Her Sitting At A Booth Eating Chocolate Ice Cream. I Sat Down In Front Of Her.
"Hey Girl"
"Hey, So What's Up?" She Asked.
"The Reason I Been Acting Like This, Is Because I'm Pregnant" I Said Biting My Lip.
"Omg" She Said Dropping Her Mouth Open.
I Pulled Out The Ultrasound And Papers Out Of My Purse And Handed Them To Her.
"Ashanti I'm So Happy For You, I Know Your Going To Be A Good Mommy" She Squealed.
I Smiled At Her. She Was Just Happy Because She Knew She Was Going To Be The Aunt Or Godmother.
"So How's Avery Taking It?" She Asked
"Fine, He Wasn't At First But He Came Around"
"Well That's Good, But I Have A Date Tonight So I Have To Leave" She Blushed.
"What? With Who?" I Asked
"Damion." She Smiled
"Aw I'm So Happy For You, You Have To Tell Me About It." I Smiled While Putting My Hands On My Cheek.
"Of Course, Now Bye" She Says Kissing Me On The Cheek..
I Got In The Car And Drove Home Thinking About How My New Life Would Be With My Son Or Daughter And Avery. I Pulled In The Drive Way And Went Into The House. Mama Was Already Sleep. So I Tried Not To Wake Her. I Sat On The Couch And Turned On The TV Flipping Through Channels To Find Something To Watch. Nothing Interesting Was On So I Pulled Out My Phone To Call Avery. His Phone Must Have Been Dead Or Something Because It Went Straight To Voicemail. My Eyes Started To Give Up On Me So I Went Upstairs And Took A Quick Shower. And Thew On Some Shorts And A Tank Top And Got Into Bed And Went To Sleep.
