I woke up in Maka's room, in Maka's bed, under Maka's covers, with Maka next to me. Her blond hair covered her face.

What surprised me was the fact that my hand was on her bare back under her small tank-top, and my other hand was holding her head. I quickly snaked my hands away from her body and crawled out of bed. Looking back I opened my cell phone.

2missed calls and 24 unread messages

Scrolling through the messages, I noticed it was a group conversation. In the conversation were only questions about where I was and about what was going on. I also noticed that all my friends were in the conversation. Kidd, Black*star, crona,Liz/Elizabeth, patty, and tsubaki.

Answering the last question I wrote "I'm at a friends, k?"

Closing my phone, I walked to the green couch by the front door, I heard footsteps.

Looking back at my phone, *1 new message* it was from Kidd. "I found you." Running back to Maka's room I woke her up. I told her to hide and that there was someone outside.

She started to whisper to herself Something about life not being far.

When I heard the door close.

The bedroom door.

Looking back I left her to see who came.
