I jump out of bed completely enthusiastic about the first day of the academy. I quickly got dressed in my uniform and covered it with my white and black jacket. I hear some goons at my door again so i leave through my window jumping from roof top to roof top. The academy comes into view and i jump to the ground, my hands in my pocket and my hood up. I walk through the gates getting stared at by the people from town; all of them whispering. I ignore them and enter the auditorium. I sit in the last row and close my eyes. No one would sit in the last three rows and i began to fall asleep being bored and pissed off. Almost asleep, i sense somone sit next to me and i open my eyes glaring.
"Who are you", i say to a boy with black shaggy hair. One of his pale blue eyes was covered up as he looks at me with a blank expression. He brushes his hair over one of his eyes with one of his gloved hands.
I look up at the man behind the podium as he finishes his speach.
"And now the person sitting next to you is your partner until you both graduate, either both of you pass or both of you fail. You will be in your own house for tonight but tomotrow you will be living with your sparing partner in dorms until you both graduate."
I walk out of my house using the backdoor; too tired to take to the roof or bothering with the weaklings. I stretch and people move away from me. I sigh seeing their reaction and pull my hood down more. The mysterious boy from yesterday, the one who was to be my partner, jumped down from the roof landing behind me silently. I stop in my tracks staring straight ahead as people began running aftaid of a fight breaking out. After almost everyone was out of sight i turn to you, only to see you with a small smirk on your lips.
"It seems i found the strongest in town" the dark haird child said.
I smile a little, "so, your just here to fight the strongest?", i sigh, "...how tedious". As i speak i turn away not wanting to be late.
He laughs at me and says "if you think thats tedious, wait until later."
I walk faster trying to ignore him becoming more and more pissed. "Whats the matter, cat got your tongue"? He laughed at his own joke referring to my hood which makes it look like i have cat ears. I throw a rock at him and he catches it as i turn away again walking away. He follows again introducing himself, "my names Ryo, whats your name"? I walk faster almost to the academy.
Finally the gates in sight i stop seeing the goons waiting for me and i role my eyes, "these guys again"? I disappear knocking them all out at the front gates and walking in. Ryo follows close behind stepping over the weak academy rejects.
