CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Joe's POV:
With absolute happiness I dance around on the floor as Zoe blasts Hello on the speakers and Caspar announces he fancies someone other than Chloe.
"let's watch Elf to celebrate!!" I say.
"celebrate what?" Caspar turns around looking very confused.
"that...uh...I just gained 7 subscribers?" I try to cover up the real reason.
Chloe shakes her head in agreement and we walk over to the living room.
"How do we even work this? what are the channels? do they have Netflix?" Chloe says all at once while staring at the remote.
"Well they do have Netflix. just give that to me." I say yanking the remote from her hand.
"sorry, this UK stuff is different then from California."
"yeah whatever." I say messing up her hair.
"okay, let's just watch the movie." she says fixing her hair but smirking. Seriously, how are we not a couple?!
Half way through the movie Chloe pops up and says "I have to pee!" with a little to much enthusiasm. She walks into the bathroom and right as the door clicks her phone rings. The caller ID "Dad💔" comes up and I answer it feeling kind of defensive.
"Hello?" I say in the deepest voice possible.
"who is this?" a trembling voice says.
"um, who is this?"
"I asked you first."
"uh, this is Joe Sugg. are you looking for Chloe?"
"yes, I wasn't expecting anyone to answer. just let her know I'll be surprising her. don't tell her it's me though." then he hangs up without saying goodbye.
I set down the phone and Chloe walks in a couple seconds later.
"who were you taking to?"
"oh, someone, I'm not telling who, called me. they'll be surprising you soon?" I say trying to remember if that right.
"okay, then." she says after plopping next to me on the couch.
