15 years later.(Pic is what Benny looks like as a 19-20 year old)

Benny POV

I drove up to the house  and turned off the ignition of my car.  I walked up to the front door and smiled, happy to be home. I just finished my first year at UNLV(University of Nevada Las Vegas) where I was studying sound engineering. I unlocked the door and heard a series of loud screams wash over me. "BEN-BEN!" my brother Shane wrapped his arms around me.  At 15 years of age Shane is the second oldest after me. Even though I'm adopted...Mom and Dad took it as a personal insult when people say it. Dad even beat the snot out of someone who called me their "charity case". No one in this family made me feel like I didn't belong.  Dad and mom never said I was adopted. As far as Mom and Dad are concerned to them and to me...I am 100% Thornton.

I looked at my brother happily. He's grown quite a bit since I've seen him. He's even bulked up a bit. I'm fit but I take after mom more I'm slimmer and more streamlined. Like her I love books and reading but I share Dad's love for music despite having no aptitude for making it. I don't share dad's  muscular build but I take care myself physically so I'm pretty toned.  After Shane was born mom and dad tried to have another kid but it wasn't happening. But my horny ass parents kept on trying. Then one day, Mom up and said she was pregnant with twins. At seven years of age Blake and Lucy were the twin terrors that drove everyone in the family bananas.  But everybody loves them regardless. Then the last addition came 2 years ago. My baby sister Tanya was basically a little girl version of me. Happy and affectionate with everyone and easily excited by the smallest things. Sure enough I heard a cute voice "BWEN!" and tiny Tanya waddled up to me and wrapped her arms around me. "Hey Baby! Did you miss me?" I asked. She nodded eagerly, making me laugh.

Blake and Lucy showed up next. Both looked like Mom but they had Dad's features.  They rushed me and collided with my body. All of my siblings were here to welcome me home. Now to find my parents.

After dropping off my stuff in my room I went to their room. I heard them panting and moaning which means...BACK THE FUCK AWAY!

Don't get me wrong...it's  comforting to know my parents still love each other but...Why do they have to have sex to prove it? I mean their just over their 40's!

I went downstairs to get something to eat. I saw some leftover barbecue beef ribs.  Probably Shane or Dad. I sat at the table eating my lunch when I heard Mom saying to Dad. "Really Riley, Benny should be home any minute now! I didn't prepare anything for him to eat! "

I heard dad laugh lightly. "He knows how to cook-"

Mom cut him off. "I know but a home-cooked meal is what he needs to feel welcomed home."

"You know Dad, she does have  a point." I spoke up making my parents look  at me and rush to me and wrap me up in a hug. I love seeing them when I come back from college. Mom steps back and I look at her. Her hair is dishevled and she's sweaty. Dad's about the same.

Those Naughty Parents of mine.

I went back to my lunch and smiled as I looked at my parents prepare a proper lunch for all of us. It's amazing how good life is. The 88's are still around but all my uncle's have wives and kids too. They still do tours and shows but the focus more on their families.  I would tell you about the dramatic fights my uncles had to go through to get their wives...but where's the fun in that.

I will say this...

Without mom and Dad I could've been sent to some horrendous orphanage or some foster home where I could be molested by the sick pricks who are my "wardens". My mom and dad gave me a chance at a happy life. They gave me a shot at a future.

They owed me nothing and they still took me and cared for me for 16 years after Grandma died.  They gave me brothers and sisters for me to love and care for.

In short...I'm one of the luckiest guys ever.  I finished my leftovers when Mom put my favorite food in front of me. Spaghetti and Meatballs. Shane and the twins barreled towards the table to get in on the action. I turned and saw little Tanya in Dad's arms and the two of them were tickling each other and laughing while walking to the table.

I love the story about my parent's meeting and getting married. The fact that they fought for each other and never gave up on each other despite how bad things got always inspires me. As a result of them fighting for each other I got a family and good life. One day...maybe I'll find my soulmate like them. One day I might adopt a little boy or girl and give them a chance at a proper life.

One day...I'll be like my dad.

One day...I'll be ADAMANT!
