Part 3- Pretty Eyes

The next day of work went smoothly. I was suppose to work a double shift which would have me home extremely late , but Tina said she found someone to fill in that spot so I would be getting off at 8. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. but it wasn't a slow day either. The guy from my dream came to the counter where I was taking my break eatting. "Hey we meet again" I looked up and smiled , he chuckled "Gorgeous you gotta a little something in your teeth" My smile faded away I put my head down "omg I feel so embarrassed" he lifted my chin gently "Don't be , you still look cute" I blushed and cleaned my teeth "So how has your morning been so far ?" I sipped some coffee "Good thanks for asking". he nodded but before he cit me off I beat him to it "what about you?" he sighed "It's ok had a little trouble at work but I handled it" he ran his hand through his long silky black hair. "that's cool" I was beginning to run out of things to say and the conversation just started "Can I call you sometime ?" I choked on coffee , spilling some of it on the counter "hu-h-huh?" he handed me some napkins "I'm sorry to be so forward but this little small talk we're having is killing me , I've wanted to ask for your number since I walked in to this place yesterday" he ran his hand through his hair again. I didn't know what to say , Hes feeling the same way I am I was so excited but I couldn't show it to him I didn't want to scared him away , so I kept it cool "sure , hand me your phone" I smiled and put my phone number in his phone. "Ok well I must get back to work , ill call you tonight Mia" he kissed my hand and walked out.

*(at the house)*

I walked in the house from a long day of work to see half naked men walking around the livingroom. Then to no suprise Sam came running into the livingroom with a half naked man chasing her screaming "john stop it , you won't catch me even on your go-" she was interrupted by my presence in the room. "Uh hey Mia , I thought you worked s double today?" I placed my coat on the coat rack then turned to her "I was but I was let out early , who are all these men and where are their clothes at ?" Sam looked around "well funny story , I was out at the club waiting for Tony when he cancelled last minute , then these guys came over and asked me to dance we danced and now look we're here" I just looked at her , shook my head then went to my room. There was no words for her that would be appropriate and wouldnt be hurtful so I remembered what my grams use to tell me 'If you don't have anything nice to say then say nothing at all'.

When I got in the room I gathered my things and took a long hot shower. I then laid on my bed and began to watch 'Twisted' the new ABC Family show , with the hot guy Avan Jogia who played Beck on Victorious. Then my phone began to ring , I didn't recognize the number , but I answered anyway.

*on the phone*

Me: hello ?

???: hey gorgeous

Me: *giggles* may I ask who's speaking?

???: Awwh you don't know my voice yet I knew I shouldn't stayed a little longer in the diner

Me: Oh Pretty Eyes now I know who it is ... sorta..um what's your name ?

???: Oh you like my eyes I see ;) thank you , and we did skip that part didn't we , oh well to late now time to move forward can't back track *he began to laugh was he really picking on me I couldn't help but laugh with him*

Me: Hey! that's not fare you know my name

???: That's because you wear a name tag

Me: maybe you should invest in one

???: Oh you don't say hmm I might just do that......naaah I don't want to be stalked , I suppose ill tell you , my name is........

'click !'

my phone shut off STUPID BATTERY I jumped out of bed and ran over to where my charger would be it wasnt there , I ran into the livingroom "Sam! where's my charger ?" she looked up from kissing one of the men "Oh I'm so sorry I accidentally broke it I meant to buy you another one but I got a little carried away" My eyes began to darken , sometimes she could be so inconsiderate ! I was pissed what if my job tried to call me. I ran out the house grabbing my keys off the table hoping to catch the store 4 blocks down before they close they sell chargers. I hoped my car. and sped down there , but it was to late they had just close Mr.Amoru was locking the gate when I arrived. Shit Shit Shit. Now what was I suppose to do. Mr.Pretty Eyes (guy from the diner) probably thinks I blew him off by hanging up. I drove back home and went to sleep , I didn't work tomorrow so I was going to sleep in but seeing how I have no charger and my phone has shut off I have no choice but to wake up at 7 when Mr.Amoru opens the store and buy me a charger.

I retrieve the charger when I woke up , and Mr.Amoru even gave me a extra for free. I had my phone charging since 8 and its now 10 so I picked up my phone and to my suprise , no missed calls , no new voicemails , no text messages. I gues Pretty Eyes really was mad at me for 'hanging up'. I called his phone but it went straight to voicemail. It sucked that I didn't work today meaning I wouldn't see him to explain what happened. Hopefully he'll call soon.
