Dirks POV:

I stayed quiet as we walked the track. He didn't need to know just yet. Or maybe not at all.

I looked to the sky as Jake rambled on about some movie, I think Indiana Jones. Snakes, why did it have to be snakes.

I laughed mentally at myself, because I'm funny. I find myself funny. Jake and I met this year at school, we used to he internet friends however. Although I've had the biggest crush on him on years, I'm just glad he hadn't noticed yet.

What would do in an relationship? Probably fuck it up terribly. So admiring from afar is all I can do. Ironically of course.

---20 minute timeskip---

I decided since it was cloudy I should start making my way to the school.

"Jake I think its going to rain..." I said and looked to him.

"Well gosh darnit'" he spat in annoyance.

"Relax." I said softly, "we always have Monday right?" I added.

He nodded. "Anyways, you doing anything tomorrow? Jane,Roxy, and me are going to see a movie tomorrow... wanna come?" I said. He nodded.

"But which one?" He asked. I shrugged.

He ran forward in front of me.

"Doesn't matter then. Its a date." He said and smiled. I paused in my place as he ran off into the school. I looked to the sky as it started raining, smiling to myself.
