I cant and wont.I just couldnt pack up my whole life and leave
No no no it was just unexeptable
"ARRG!"I screamed out loud
"Kevie ?" My mom looked into my room,"Honey whats wronge"
"Mom ..I cant I just cant go and live with the man that abandaned us for his job"I said softly to her while controling my anger.
"Kevie dont speak like that.you know he never wanted to go but he had ,after all he does love"
"NO MOTHER HE LEFT US TO DIE HERE WE HAD TO FEND FOR OURSELVES ALL THESE LUXURIES AND RICHES IT WAS ALL US ME AND YOU! " I cut her off
She looked at me as if I had just scared her for life.
"Mama im sorry , I didnt mean it"I looked at her with soft eyes
She just simply smiled at me with regret and pain, then left the room.
Its just that all this was too much for one person to take .My dad just wanted me to move with him to America.The education there was supposidly better than here in France.
But why he wanted me to come was a mystery after all he is way to busy to focus on me.But to leave mama behind was one thing that I never thought I would have to do.Ever.
-------CHARLLENE'S POV------
Neatly plated my hair into a side braid and placed a pink rose by the side.I put on a light layer of make up .I wore a white lace dress with some pink pumps and I was ready to go.
I arrived at the big mansion which I began to call my second home.
"Morning sweetness"a deep voice greeted me from behind.
"Morning Mr Mayers "I smilee back at him eager for any tasks he had me to do today.
"Sweetness look here" he said as he held his hand out to me.
By the palm of his hand was a rose, not red or white, but a baby pink one.
" its beautiful right?" ,"isint it wonderful how God creates the most wonderful things "
"Mmmm"
"Charllene ,.my son will be coming tommorw in the afternoon and I would like him to meet you ."he said
"Ohh okay .Why is he coming back all of a sudden?"
"I asked him to come, I need him to come "
"Well does he know about your condition?"
"That's why I called you today","Charllene you have been like a daughter to me and you have been my reason why I still fight, I have watched you grow since you were very Young "
"Yes its all true and Im thankful"
"I am giving you half my wealth"
"What do you mean you have a son and a family.Mr Mayers"
he simply looked at me and smiled .
"And you are apart of it "
His words touched my heart and showed me love.
"Mr Mayers, I promise you I wont ever forget you"I said as tears came streaming down my face .
"Charllene dont cry but listen to me . You are a star and stars shine the brightest when it is dark.Always tell yourself that.Yo are a beautiful girl and one day you will find the perfect man for you "
" Mr Mayers ..."
"I have made many mistakes for Goodness sake my only son hates me , I thought I was never going to be loved again until you came along Charllene ."
I came and hugged him
"Now Charllene, I need you to give my son this letter when the time is right" he said handing me an envelope.
"Okay I promise I will"
I stood him up from his seat and helped him Into the house were I then made him a snak while we watched a movie.
That Evening I went home remembering what Mr Mayers j
Had said to me
MR Mayers:I sorry to tell you late but please could you pick my son up from the airport and keep him company , I have a business trip .I will be back In 5 days .Be ready by 2pm will send Frank to pick you up.
I didnt mind at all though.i had always wanted to see the famous Kevin
