Chapter 2

I walked in 4th period, exhausted after PE.
I sat next to Kathy, my best friend.

"So how was PE?" She asked.

"Well, I was an awesome quarterback and slayed at throwing."

"Yeah you totally rock girl."

I looked up and saw Edward walking through the door. He caught my eye and waved at me. I waved back.

Kathy said, "Oohh does someone have a crush on someone?"

"Psh no. We are just friends."

"Mhm sure."

"Shut up, we are only friends."

Edward and I became friends since we sat in the same group in math. I guess we just got along since we have so much in common.
We both love Monterey, we both like longboarding, and a lot more.

"Okay class we are going to watch a movie on nature but you don't have to take notes."

The whole class cheered. Movie and no notes? Score!

As the video started, I tapped Kathy's shoulder and whispered at her,

"Girl. This video is so boring."

"Tell me about it. Wait, why is Edward looking our way?"

"What?"

I looked towards Edward and I saw that he was looking at me. I found this awkward, so I just waved at him, and unsurprisingly he waved back.

"Mmmm giiirrll he totally has the crushies on you." Kathy said.

"Shut up. He doesn't."

"Yup he does. First of all, he gave you his number a couple weeks ago. Now, he can't stop staring at you."

Does Edward really like me?
