Chapter 4

Yay! It is almost the end of the day. I walked into math class and sat in my seat, not talking to anyone.

"Okay class so today we are going to work on another project. I will divide the class into groups of 3 so there can be 10 groups. And I will choose the people you are working with."
The room got filled with groans and complaining.

"I'm going to start reading off your groups."

"Kayla, Jason, and Jessica."
"Beatrice, Tony, and Rick."

She stated to read off people and i waited for my group to be called. I hope I get chosen with people who work. I'm one of the smartest people in this class, and I bet my partners might give me all the work.

"Abby, Betha.."

Oh my god! Yay! Betha is in my team! She's like one of my besties!

...and Edward."

Hey, it's not that bad. At least I get to hang out with Edward as a friend so things won't be so awkward all the time.

"Now go with your table group and then I will tell you the project."

Edward looked at me and said, "Well I guess we get to do another project together, huh?"

"Yup. Let's go meet up with Betha."

"Okay."

We walked over to Betha's table.

I said, "Betha! Yay we get to work together!"

"I know right?! So happy!"

Ms. Johnson interrupted us.
"Okay class so you and your partners are going to do a project on geometry. So you will have to give the formulas for all the shapes and give an example problem of how to find it."

I whispered to Betha, "That isn't so hard."

She nodded in agreement.

"This project will be due in two days and a poster is required, but you won't have to present it."

Yay! I hate presenting. I get all nervous and stuff.

"You may start working now."

Betha said," So this is really simple."

I responded, "Totally. So I was thinking that we should make the poster and divide it by each shape."

Edward said, "Yeah that sounds good."

"Since it's a short day today, do you guys want to work it at my house? I'm pretty sure Louie wouldn't have a problem with it" I said.

"I still can't believe that your brother is in my favorite boy band!"

"What is she talking about Abby?" asked Edward.

"Uhh I'll tell you later." I quickly said.

"Umm okay?" He replied.

"So about the project! We only have about 20 minutes, so let's get started!"
