Bella's POV
The trip to the cabin completely changed my mood. It was a very long week at school. Its finally the weekend.
Seraphina and I needed to practice magic. I made a date to meet her. I quickly ran to my room and grabbed the spell book put it into my purse and ran into my car. Edward needs to go hunting with his family today so I had the whole day to myself. I knew that I would see him tonight.
As I was driving there I couldn't help but think about how everything between Edward and I are perfect. Lets hope no one can ruin that. Not even myself. I'm the problem most of the time I'm pushy, and think about thing way to much. I remembered a quote my grandmother would always say; "Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes."
I finally understand what she would always babble about. Edward is my love. We both accepted each other as we are, he came into my life at the perfect moment. He actually changed my life. I found a parking right in front of her house.
I jumped out of my car and raced to her front door. The minute I landed on her porch she flew the door open.
"Bella its so nice to finally see you."
"You too, Seraphina I'm so sorry I wasn't able to make it Edward invited me to his family Cabin this winter break. And ive been so busy since then." I said rapidly
"Don't worry about it. You remind me so much of your mother she used to speak so fast when she got nervous."
I just nodded and smiled not knowing what to say. I couldn't believe that I was going to learn more magic.
"Okay, lets start off with some basic spells."
"Okay."
She went to her library and started to bring candles, and some more spell books.
"Okay lets try this one. Its called Light This spell causes a touched object to glow like a torch, shedding normal light in a 20-foot radius from the point touched, and increasing the light level for an additional 20 feet by one step, up to normal light (darkness becomes dim light, and dim light becomes normal light). In an area of normal or bright light, this spell has no effect. The effect is immobile, but it can be cast on a movable object."
"Lets try it, Umm what do I have to do exactly."
"Its all about the touch."
I closed my eyes and focused my mind on the light, and how I was going to turn it on? I was completely determined to make it work.
"Perfect. Bella you did it."
I opened my eyes, slowly my eyes widened. "Oh my god I did that?"
"Yes! Lets try others."
I just nodded feeling scared.
"Try this one, its called Spark. You can make an unattended Fine flammable object catch on fire. This works as if you were using flint and steel except that you can use spark in any sort of weather and it takes much less time to actually ignite an object."
"Here that's why I took out my candles. Try to light one of them."
"Okay." I closed my eyes trying my best to focus. Only to open my eyes to find nothing
"What happened?" I questioned
"You need to clear you head, Baby stop thinking about everything only focus on the candle."
