Bella's POV
As we were driving back from the mall, I had so many things on my mind to worry about. The fact that I think being in this relationship can bring me heartache more than happiness is scaring me.
"Bella, I think you and my brother are meant to be together, like - like soul mates almost. I know you've been through so much." She said
I looked at her and just shook my head.
"Ohh, don't worry about it, Edward and I are the closest ones in the house. We tell each other everything, you should have seen how happy he was when he finally talked about you." She stated excitedly
"Really? So you guys are the closest in this family, huh?" I asked
"Yup, we were the first ones in the Cullen family, so we got closer, and closer by time."
"That's cool. I think meeting your brother was one of the best things I've ever done in a long time. As Edward already told you, my past is hard and somewhat confusing. Yet Edward makes me forget the past. But this afternoon changed alot of things." I said playing with my fingers
"Bella, Edward feels so protective over you. And he had a very hard past too. Believe me being a vampire is no piece a cake. Yet he made it and lived, and so can you guys. And please, don't ever ever pay any attention to Rosalie. She's always been jealous about everything Edward does, or who he's with." She said calmly
"Alright I'll pay her no mind, and how many girls had Edward been with in the past?" I asked out of curiosity
"Bella, don't worry about it, he really cares for you. Can't you see that?" She asked
"Of course I see that, but I'm just scared I've beem hurt so many times in my life that I'm afraid of someone new coming into my life." I answered
"Are you afraid of Edward?" She asked
"Of course I'm not afraid of Edward, I'm afraid of myself." I answered
"Explain that please." She asked confused
"Well, you see once I fall in love I fall really hard. And most of the time I get hurt, broken, just lost most of the time as well." I said with tears.
"I don't like thinking about it to much, it drives me insane sometimes."
"Bella." She said taking my hand.
"You have absolutely nothing to worry about. And if you're still freaked out about Rosalie, I'll take care of it." She said kindly.
She pulled up next to my house. I couldn't believe that we were already here.
"Thank you so much Alice, for everything. And I'm sorry I drove you crazy with my insanity." I said
She just shook her head, and pulled me into a cold, hard hug. I hugged her back. I've never had a sister before, but Alice is the one sister I never had.
"Have fun on your date tonight." Alice said singing her way to the front seat of the car
"You saw it already. Didn't you?" I asked with wide eyes
She shook her head, "By the way Bella look in the Forever 21 bag, I might have slipped something inside there for tonight." She yelled and drove off.
I opened the door and went into my room, my godmother was working tonight so I decided to make her a quick bowl of pasta before I felt. As I finished cooking, I raced upstairs and got cleaned up. I remembered what Alice told me.
I open the Forever 21 bag and find a beautiful A strapless scuba knit dress featuring a layered chiffon skirt. Studded sweetheart bustline. Silicone-edge lining. Invisible zipper at the back. Knit. Partially lined. It looked amazing.
