Lion King Kiara's Pride

Chapter 1: A New Dawn

On a sun rising day Kovu was sitting on the edge of pride rock, looking out scanning the pridelands like a king would do. "Kovu what are you doing up so early" Simba said walking up from behind him.

"Am nervous Simba, Kiara's expecting and I... I don't know I'm a little afraid" Kovu said looking out to the east. "Kovu its going to be okay, soon the cub or cubs will..."Cubs what if its two of them or three or even four" said Kovu with his claws clawing the rock underneath them. "Everything is going to be fine Kovu come on follow me."

Then Simba lead Kovu to the watering hole while Nala and the other lionesses watched over Kiara since Kovu was off with Simba "Where are those two going?" Kiara asked curiously "No where you should be kiara not like this." Said Nala to her daughter, with a lick to her ear they both went back inside the cave.

Meanwhile Simba and Kovu made it to the watering hole. Kovu climbed on top of a rock and lied down unsure what to do when Kiara delivers. "Stop worrying Kovu everything is going to be okay, your going to be a father soon and you need to be strong and brave not weak and afraid." "You're right Simba but what if..."

Before Kovu could finish a large male lion was at the watering hole. "Simba who's that?" Kovu asked "I don't know but he's trespassing on our land, Kovu get back up." As Kovu left to get backup he though about what Simba said 'Strong and brave not weak and afraid' so he turned around and went back. "Simba I think that maybe I should help instead of the lionesses cause am pretty sure we can take him."

As the two were about to approach the lion he was gone, the only thing they could do is to follow the lion's trail. But before they could a roar from a fellow lioness called out to them "Simba! Kovu! You won't believe!" As the kings heard the news they hurried back to pride rock.

"Aren't they just adorable," "You can say that again," "So cute you can just eat-em up." The lionesses sweet talking to the cubs. "Kiara! Kiara!" Kovu said trying to get though the lionesses then to his surprise seeing cute 3 cubs a black and grey pelt one, a sun tan pelt and the runt of the litter, one with a usually color a redish and blackish pelt, but he didn't care he was still happy about having cubs with his lover Kiara. "My daughter is now a mother am so proud of you Kiara." Nala said nudging her head with Kiara.

Simba soon stepped into the cave to see his little and new grandcubs, "They're beautiful, well are you still afraid Kovu." Simba asked Kovu "To be honest no not anymore now that their born and am proud of being their father." Kovu lead forward to get a closer look, Kiara licks the heads and they turned around and to see their father. With happy faces purring in pure happiness.
